If you happen to go to Philadelphia, you will never regret buying a Philly cheesesteak sub. I don't care who's selling them, street vendor or sandwich shop, just about anyplace in Philadelphia knows how to make a genuine Philly cheesesteak sub.

It is called koeksisters (direct translation cake sister
) , it is a dough baked in oil and then dumped in a sugar mix... it is delicious and one of the traditional foods we eat in South Africa.
Miri, I am sure there will be an South African shop in your city somewhere. It will be worth your while stopping there to get a pack but make sure they are the soft juicy ones (some people bake them until they are tough on the outside
