I would love to read about times when you learned, discovered something about God or His word, Jesus, Hs, that just set you back or up in Awe, or caused you to grow in some way be it strength, confidence, ect..

To avoid overload, I'll give one and jump back in..

I gained confidence when I found out how much God loved me. Before I was so low in esteem bc I never fit in, didn't think I was too smart, seemed like everything I tried blew up or broke, ended.. I was a joke to many.. It wasn't until I found out who I was and what God put in me that I became an asset to those who knew the value of those qualities.. No matter what I hear, I can't be brought back down just bc someone doesn't see it..
 
I've learned now to take life so serious when just looking up into the stars at night and seeing the vastness of His creation. How trivial everything seems from that perspective.

Indeed. I lost interest in a lot of things for that very reason. They weren't wrong, just empty with no real purpose..
 
Awesome thread. And I like your sig it is really true. We really need to guard our hearts for everything flows from it. Our heart reflects our words and actions. God blew my mind when I realized He does'nt need anything from me at all. He just wants my whole heart.

God blew my mind when I learned...He seems to choose those whom - for whatever reason society rejects.
