On the contrary, over the years I participated in many public debates about politics. Today, the internet offers an online forum in which we the more patriotic types use the same format in our discussions. I started participating in debates long before you were born and that is why I defeat you so easily. Experience being the best teacher.

To God be the glory.
I've learned nothing except what insanity might look like. Lol

Trump's lies to his own supporters are generating hatred and threats of violence

Trump may be leaving people “in suspense” about how he’ll react to the news that he’s lost the election, but a lot of Trump voters are leaving no doubt about what they’ll do next.
“People are going to march on the capitols,” said Mr. Halbrook, who works at a call center. “They’re going to do whatever needs to be done to get her out of office, because she does not belong there.”
“If push comes to shove,” he added, and Mrs. Clinton “has to go by any means necessary, it will be done.”
Like a toddler playing with matches, Donald Trump loves all the pretty colors and excitement, but he’s not all that concerned about what he might burn down in the process.
Interviews with more than 50 Trump supporters at campaign events in six states over the past week revealed a distinct change from the rollicking mood earlier this year, when Mr. Trump’s surprising primary successes and emergence as an unconventional Republican standard-bearer set off broad excitement. The crowds appeared on edge and quick to lash out.
For months, Donald Trump has been promising that he would make every dream come true. Jobs? Millions of jobs! Money? You’re going to be so rich! And those … brown people who aren’t like me? We’re gonna build a wall, put them all on the other side, and make them pay for it!
Now he’s telling his followers that all those dreams are being stolen away. By cheaters.
Everyone deserves the right to vote free of harassment and intimidation. We must be vigilant on Election Day to protect this right. Sign up as an Election Protection volunteer.

No pony for you. No pony for you. And no pony for you. All because of evil Hillary rigging the election.
“You go through any neighborhood and see how many Trump signs there are and how many Hillary signs there are, and I guarantee you it’s not even going to be close,” said Bill Stelling, 44, of Jacksonville, Fla. “The only way they’ve done it is by rigging the election.”
The truth is that the Trump campaign has internal polls showing numbers just like that of public polls. He knows that he is losing. But that’s not what he’s feeding the people who attend his rally, receive his emails, or read his tweets. Instead, Trump is fanning the flames, driving the idea that the polls are rigged, the election is rigged, that even in Texas the voting machines are rigged.

A lot of call-ins about vote flipping at the voting booths in Texas. People are not happy. BIG lines. What is going on?
8:01 AM - 27 Oct 2016

This isn’t about winning. Trump knows he isn’t winning. This is about stoking the anger that fuels his supporters and making sure that they don’t walk away when Trump, for all his swagger, turns out to be just another loser. Trump would be just as happy if they didn’t vote. He just wants the anger.
It’s a position boosted by the Alt-Right sources that are symbiotic with the Trump campaign.
An information diet from Trump-friendly outlets like Breitbart News and Infowars has led many to believe that there is no way Mr. Trump can lose, and that even contemplating the possibility is foolish. “I’d be shocked,” said Rick Hill, 58, of Fort Myers, Fla.
Trump wants to keep his supporters ignorant and angry, feeding them a steady diet that he is winning, the polls can’t be trusted, the press can’t be trusted, and the only way he can lose is if Hillary cheats.
It’s a tactic that may feed into how Trump keeps scamming in the future, but the cost of jump-starting Donald Trump’s next scheme, may be very high.
And it’s not helped by idiots like former Congressman Joe Walsh who are trying to skim some of that sweet, sweet anger cash.

Trump = ever the scammer.
since copy and pasting passes for debate in peacenik's world:

Daily revelations from a top campaign aide’s stolen emails are frustrating Hillary Clinton’s attempts to make closing arguments and guard her lead over Republican Donald Trump in the waning days of the 2016 presidential election.

The latest ABC News tracking poll shows Mrs Clinton holding a 6 percentage point advantage in a four-way contest with Mr Trump, the Libertarian party’s Gary Johnson and Green party candidate Jill Stein.
But the WikiLeaks organisation has been releasing daily batches of emails pilfered from the account of John Podesta, the chairman of the Clinton campaign and a former White House chief of staff, that reveal the sometimes fractious inner workings of the former secretary of state’s campaign.
The emails reveal the overlap between the Clintons’ charitable foundation, Mrs Clinton’s work as secretary of state and her husband’s for-profit speechmaking. At the centre of the latest controversy is Doug Band, president of the consultancy Teneo Holdings, who filled multiple roles as an aide to the former president. Republicans have accused Mr Band of acting as the ringleader of a “pay-for-play” operation that solicited foundation donations from companies that were also pressed to hire the ex-president for paid speeches.
With less than two weeks to election day, and millions of votes already cast in states that allow early voting, Mr Trump is hammering a “drain the swamp” message about political corruption. On Thursday, he tweeted out news reports on Mr Band’s activities. Later at a rally in Springfield, Ohio, Mr Trump called the emails evidence that the Clintons were “outright corrupt.”
Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, described one Band memo, which contained a list of companies that had donated to the Clinton Foundation, as “the smoking gun for how the Clintons used their foundation to create a massive for-profit paid speaking and consulting business to enrich themselves”.

In February 2014, Mr Band pressed Mr Podesta to meet Andrew McKenzie, the chief executive of BHP Billiton, during a Washington visit the following month, according to new emails released by WikiLeaks on Thursday. The Anglo-Australian mining company had contributed $175,000 to the Clinton Foundation two years earlier.
“Would really appreciate if you could see andrew, important to me,” Mr Band wrote Mr Podesta on February 27, 2014.
Thirteen hours later, Mr Podesta replied: “For you, I’ll try.”

In a statement, Mr Band’s firm said: “Teneo worked to encourage clients, where appropriate, to support the Clinton Foundation because of the good work that it does around the world. It also clearly shows that Teneo never received any financial benefit or benefit of any kind from doing so.”
The Clinton campaign has declined to authenticate the emails, which WikiLeaks is releasing in daily online instalments. Earlier this month, Mrs Clinton’s spokesman called the group, headed by Julian Assange, a “propaganda arm” of the Russian government.
A March 6, 2015 email from a campaign aide asked if two speeches by the former president scheduled for the first days following his wife’s planned April 12, 2015 candidacy announcement could be “pulled down”. One of the two speeches was cancelled; a second on April 16 occurred as scheduled.

Neera Tanden, a close Clinton aide and now president of the Center for American Progress in Washington, wrote to Mr Podesta on July 25, 2015 amid mushrooming concerns about Mrs Clinton’s use of a private email server. “Do we actually know who told Hillary she could use a private email? And has that person been drawn and quartered?” Ms Tanden asked. “Like whole thing is f***ing insane.”
A January 12 email from Ron Klain, a former aide to vice-president Joe Biden, to Mr Podesta and other senior officials showed the campaign preoccupied by the same vulnerabilities that dog it in the election’s waning days. Under the subject line “political questions”, Mr Klain posed a series of queries that were dominating news coverage, including mention of “new revelations about your emails” and the question: “Can voters trust you?”
Mr Klain’s email also contains several questions about “WJC issues”, a reference to former President William Jefferson Clinton and “his conduct” towards other women. “How is what Bill Clinton did different from what Bill Cosby did?” the email asks, in an allusion to the entertainer accused by dozens of women of drugging and raping them.
Both candidates were scheduled to visit key swing states on Thursday, with Mrs Clinton to appear with first lady Michelle Obama in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Mr Trump planning three rallies in Ohio.

Libertarian tacitly agrees that Hillary is preferable to Trump:

[h=1]Libertarian VP Candidate Admits Defeat, Tells Voters To Pick Clinton Over Trump[/h]https://res.cloudinary.com/tpm/imag...c,g_face,w_653,h_361/fb67neczid34qmhc8uhz.jpg

Accepting that his presidential bid will fail, Libertarian vice presidential candidate Bill Weld on Tuesday obliquely urged voters to vote for Hillary Clinton.

In a Tuesday statement addressed to "those in the electorate who remain torn between two so-called major party candidates," the former Massachusetts governor told Republicans not to vote for the GOP nominee out of “fear for our country.”

“After careful observation and reflection, I have come to believe that Donald Trump, if elected President of the United States, would not be able to stand up to this pressure and this criticism without becoming unhinged and unable to perform competently the duties of his office,” the former Massachusetts governor said in a statement.

Weld ticks off a long list of what he sees as Trump’s flaws, including his childish response to criticism, divisive rhetoric about immigrants and minorities, instability, and lack of familiarity with policy.

While Weld said he will see his bid with Gary Johnson through to Election Day, he acknowledged that the Libertarian Party ticket, which has languished far behind in the polls, will not break “the two party monopoly” this year. He announced in early October that he would spend the rest of the campaign cycle speaking out against Trump.

Some observers interpreted the last paragraph of his statement as a winking request for voters not to cast ballots for his own running mate.

“Every citizen must be aware of the power and responsibility of each individual vote,” Weld writes. “This is not the time to cast a jocular or feel-good vote for a man whom you may have briefly found entertaining.”

Though Weld goes on to mention Trump by name, his comments could also describe Johnson, who captured headlines with his bumbling responses to foreign policy questions and odd interview antics.

Libertarian VP Candidate: Whatever You Do, Don't Vote For Trump

Peacenik should try reddit:

Reddit users (also known as redditors) are growing increasingly angry at pro-Hillary Clinton political action committee (PAC) Correct The Record over it’s efforts to promote a pro-Hillary narrative on the site.

Redditors are especially concerned that Correct The Record’s paid internet commenters are suppressing revelations from WikiLeaks’ release of Clinton campaign chair John Podesta’s emails, which have produced a flood of damaging revelations about the Clinton campaign.

Reddit, which describes itself as “a source for what’s new and popular on the web” is divided into thousands of “subreddits,” which the site describes as “sub-communities, each focused on a specific topic.”
Whether or not a post does well on Reddit (and, consequently, how large of an audience it reaches) largely depends on how many “upvotes” and “downvotes” it receives.

Correct The Record is open about it’s efforts to combat “lies and misleading narratives about Secretary Hillary Clinton” on Reddit, to which it devoted one million dollars.
A coordinated effort to “downvote” a post could keep it from reaching a large audience on the site.
Due to the anonymity the site providers its users, however, it’s impossible to know the extent of Correct The Record’s Reddit campaign.
But some Redditors are nevertheless sure that the PAC is actively trying to suppress negative stories about Hillary Clinton from the Podesta emails.
One community where Correct The Record appears to be unpopular is the subreddit /r/WikiLeaks, which has more than 60,000 subscribers and is devoted to WikiLeaks-related news and topics.
“It looks like CTR is out in force and getting smarter. Don’t waste your time arguing, just dig!” one user posted on /r/WikiLeaks Wednesday, adding: “Don’t let them eat up your time. Get to work digging or spreading. They’re wasting cash on man hours, don’t let them eat up yours.”
The PAC is similarly unpopular on the subreddit /r/DNCLeaks, which was originally devoted to crowdsourcing findings from WikiLeaks’ release of emails from the Democratic National Committee but has since been repurposed to crowdsourcing revelations from the Podesta emails.
That subreddit has more than 17,000 subscribers and averages 200 new subscribers every day, one of the moderators told The Daily Caller.
One of the top posts on /r/DNCLeaks right now states, “CTR is in here heavy today. Make sure you are generous with your upvotes and downvotes to counteract these jerks.” That post currently has 1,143 points (the number of upvotes a post receives, minus the number of downvotes).
“I think they are making a final 2 week desperate push for their terrible candidate,” reads one of the post’s top comments, from a Redditor who goes by the username “SchlangeHatRecht.”
“Stupid CTR slaves… Get a life and/or a conscience instead of being a propaganda slave for a power that apparantly needs propaganda,” another user –“letusfake” — commented.
“CTR is being shifty. They downvote comments to ‘1’ but not below so it doesn’t look like them shilling. They’re trying to make us seem low energy; we’re not. We’re MAGA!” reads one popular post on subreddit /r/The_Donald, which is the largest pro-Trump subreddit on the site with more than 240,000 subscribers.
“CTR Downvoted the HELL out of my post proving the Podesta emails are verified to be 100% real and accurate. Here’s the PROOF again. (don’t let them downvote it again)” another person posted on /r/The_Donald on Thursday.
Whether or not, Correct The Record is doing what some Redditors say they’re doing — the PAC didn’t respond to an interview request from TheDC by press time — many reddit users believe the group is indeed suppressing negative stories about Hillary from the Podesta emails.
And it doesn’t look like those beliefs will change anytime soon.
In the words of redditor “sockselgato,” “CTR is here to stay, even after this bad joke of an election and it is our duty as responsible and truth-abiding citizens to quash this wretched Thinkpol into oblivion.”

I know reddit quite well and participated in its forum when discussing government agent provocateur actions in Ferguson. They even had a live camera in which such a government agent was caught live online.
