Too many Christians live such worldly lives and live on easy street but Demi is right the judgement seat determines so I want to suffer for them labour with God that they wake up I say also what Ive been most would of crumbled its scary and humbles me at the thought God is amazing grace and mercy I pretty sure Demi knows that too its all been the Lord none to Me I love him so much for his mercy and faithfulness has surpassed my expectations beyond anything.
"Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling" Christians are on easy street do what they like dont care really about God well that verse says "with fear and trembling" Jesus is Judge and a Holy God we do need to be very careful how we live our lives Deut 28 "... being careful to do all his commandments"
With the drinking thing I really hate that Young Christian are in the worship team/music team in their church and then clubbing fri sat A major factor it didnt stop me at first but drinking just because Christians think its fun and they dont have a social life social is a modern term anyway I get to my testimony firstly I remember when i was 14 all my friends were drinking at parties so i didnt have much to do usually on friday nights and I just would hang with God sit on my bed listen to Christian music and that was the first time I heard the audio voice of God he loved that I loved him and that I chose him. and that began an amazing stronger relationship with him I did fall greatly I have the after affects now
God wants that relationship with his youngins and anyone he will chose you he will heres deut 28 again haha verse 1
".. set you high above the nations of the earth" my testimony was that one night I went clubbing and drank too much and got tispy I didnt listen to my parents my aunty and mum were worried up all night because they didnt want me to go that had a bad feeling about it too I was on strong medication at the time there is no blessing is disobedience .Once you out of the protection of God authority dont expect to be protected and that well its like an umbrella God's authority step out of the umbrella you will feel the rain, because of the strong medication I was nearly falling asleep on the bar table HELLO prime target for physical abuse and sexual perverts so in my dozey desperate daze this guy comes up to me (why did i go with him because i disobeyed God and so I was not blessed and reaped what I sowed )and says im gonna to a club so I thght oh good another one to my horror surprise once we entered in it ws a strip club it took me ages to get enough courage a visibly shaken young Christian girl who her loving Christian parents were praying hardcore that night urging not to drink club anymore , not to go out that night and by God amazing grace the guy was too drunk to rape me he starting throwing up i left and and finally found the exit and ran out of there.
I hope I can encourage esp youngins its cool to repent and not drink club , party - obviously a birthday party is ok wisdom needed with parties . im geeky to alot of my youth group but this young girl is going to love God so much im not worried about it . i would be so encouraged if youngins esp would consider my testimony and this resource was great in my deciding in leaving drinking all together its a great read i loved the part esp about biblical background read about the percentage of alcohol that was allowed by God in bible times vs today
