Ugh, guys, I'm so luke-warm. Actually, luke-warm is probably stretching it. I love Christ, or, at least, I think I do... but I'm so sinful and weak. The sins I've done against others and myself would probably make your nose curl. :(

I just need TONS of prayer and help. I have short bursts of faithfulness but they're always interrupted by my sins.

I feel like I could cry; I virtually am. Honestly, it hit me tonight that a friend of mine who is Wiccan is a better Christian than I am.....

So, yeah, like I said. Pray for me. My heart is in the right place but my will is weak. Forgive me Lord

The fact that you are sensitive to your sins shows you care.


I've prayed for you brother, but please, do yourself and your faith a big favour by staying away from the catholic church.

Hang in there Jordan. If you have accepted Christ by faith, then Jesus will not abandon you.

so,I suggest you to get the new life.
all the bad things and sins that you have done bfore just keep it to be a lesson for you so that you can be better people.
study from the past.

It isn't your weak will that is really important, it is your heart. If you really love God and want to put Him first(not always easy at your age) but find you keep falling back, I wonder if you are going about it the right way.

Just a couple of thoughts from a person who was like you for many years.

Do you always see that you only ever can have one righteousness with God. 'Faith in His Son that He died for your sins on the cross. You could be burned alive for preaching the Gospel and give all you have to the poor, but that one thing would be the only righteousness you can have to get to Heaven

Whos strength are you relying on to be a Christian and stay loyal to Jesus? Your own? You must fail.

What do you base your Christianity on? Being good? Whether you sin or not? Or in trusting Jesus to keep you.

If you are weak willed that can have an advantage you know. You'll have to rely on God completely. The Apostle Paul said. 'God's power shows up best in weak people.'

Have you been baptised in the Holy Spirit? That is your only real power, you have none of your own. And you don't get the Holy Spirit by being 'good enough' Paul says that. You ask and believe.
