Real christian men are hard to find because they are so rare, endangered species and probably taken already.

Some men are Christian in name only...meaning I dated men that did not show fruits of the Spirit....we have to look at them through our spiritual eyes and ask God to reveal things to us. Sometimes we need to date a certain man to learn a valuable lesson....God knows what and who is best for us..He is the potter and we are the clay...so who better to ask than our Maker

Best advice is just because a guy goes to church or is even in leadership at church or in a ministry, you can't just take it on trust that he lives like a Christian in his private everyday life. But I hope you find one of those wonderful Christian men. But do hold out for the real deal because no one needs to rack up even more bad relationships.

When I was young and naive, I dated men who claimed God. Fruit is important. If they have none, red flag..
Don't get caught by potential. It's just that, potential. They can potentially choose against it as well.
Current state is important. Not saying they won't grow, don't get involved until they do.
My lessons learned

Every man (3) I have dated that were in the church were certainly not Christian after I got to know them. All three tried to get me in bed with them, and they treated people awful. None of those relationships lasted long at all.

On a more positive note: since there is one. Walk in the spirit yourself. Meaning tame your own flesh and lack of patience on the matter. As one of these guys, you know what I hear?
Your own walk isn't established. Why would she date a non believer? Is she so impressionable by charm that she risks and probably surrenders her purity, the salvation of her children and usefulness in the kingdom?

How do you spend that much time with someone that doesn't practice the same life you do? A Christian always has to neglect or deny or at least be Luke warm stay in one of those relationships. Which....is full of compromise.

Focus on getting things right with the Lord, with Him only. Happiness comes from Him, not another person. No doubt you have emotional baggage and that doesn't help any relationship.

When Joseph discovered that Mary was pregnant, before the Angel Gabriel assured him that she was pregnant of the Holy Spirit, he was minded to put her privately. He still respected her, even though at the time he wasn't going to stay with her. Men of God are the same. They won't make a spectacle out of you, they'll just pass on quietly.

Don't lose the gem playing in the rocks. Embrace and find out God's will for your life. Then you will run into him in the process. Going to church on Sunday mornings is just sitting in the bleachers, you need to get into the game. Invest into women's ministry, etc... We are called to lead, that's not possible with someone who isn't following. Its just an invitation to strife.

Can Roh, Lynx, Zero, Ultimatum77 and I take this as a compliment? I know we may be really stretching its original intent but it would brighten our day somewhat. Sorry. Gotta keep beating that pride. Its an Alpha male thing:rolleyes: I repent.... *sackcloth n ashes

To inter something means to bury it. So disinterring something means to dig it up.
