To inter something means to bury it. So disinterring something means to dig it up.
Ok thanks for the info.

No, I was just doing a little disinterring. =^.^=
My parents gave me good advice when choosing "men" to date (I was a teen at the time so the word men was used loosely then). Mama said a good man is tough as nails on the outside and soft inside when it comes to the lady he loves. My daddy said watch how a man treats his mama, someone smaller than he, and children; that will tell you a lot about him.
As for a man being a strong Christian, well a lot of men will surprise you as you learn their true hearts, both good and bad surprises. Don't leap with your eyes shut. In fact, don't leap at all, but grow into things. It's not a sprint after all.

Pro. 12:10= greatnessHe who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.

A righteous man regards the life of his animal, But the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

That's what I tell my girls. Watch how he treats those who can't defend themselves against him.
Can Roh, Lynx, Zero, Ultimatum77 and I take this as a compliment? I know we may be really stretching its original intent but it would brighten our day somewhat. Sorry. Gotta keep beating that pride. Its an Alpha male thingI repent.... *sackcloth n ashes
hahahaha don't worry she was kidding

What if the mother is abusive? How do you deal with that? Can you blame him if he wants to stay away to preserve his sanity? How he treats women in general should be more appropriate becasue Mama's boys who are only concerned in pleasing their mothers more than pleasing their wives are also disgusting.
Not a habit, just that one day. And it was for a greater cause.I have observed that digging up has become a habit of yours.
Newine has a great point: its not a sprint. And your folks were right, especially your dad. How he treats his sister, mom and people he interacts with daily, is a useful indicator.
You'd be surprised how many times I've heard people in an office setting (during my software support days) utter comments like, "No way! He's a Christian?? You mean he actually goes to church?" They will be discussing a person whom it appears has "come out as a closet Christian" [emphasis on "closet" as it appears the Christian life style has somehow never seen the light of day]. People must be able to say something about his fruit. So many men (women too) are sadly Christian in name only.
So potential is great. really awesome. In fact I'd even recommend potential if "he" happens to be a Jack Russell or Border collie pup. Otherwise decide before hand that you want fruit.
Humble yourself before the Lord and He will hook you up.
"Humble yourself before the Lord and He will hook you up" lol brother you are hilarious now you're redoing Bible verses ;D
Blasphemy! You have a good eye to notice his subtle way of twisting the scripture. Lol!
And I thought that I was just giving that phrase a context.I plead "not guilty" maam. Please put away those rocks and ask the crowd (Ultimatum et al) to return to their homes.
I have to admit this is part of the reason I quit going to the church I attended. I found that the men weren't exhibiting Christian behavior (well, most of them). Many of the women did, but not all. I was actually quite disappointed. Especially with Pastors, and one leader of a Wed. night prayer session.
It made me question things, even made me feel doubtful of, things. Hard to explain.
And the funny thing was they put so much emphasis on Sundays, of not just being a Christian on Sunday, but every day.
"shrugs shoulder, extending hand/arm like what the heck?"
I feel better worshiping him at home, in my room when I feel the need. I do need to read the good book more often.

thanks to y all for ur advices. they made me think a lot about the importance of trying to see someone in a biblical way ( his fruits). If I understand well what you all said is that going to church is not enough, the "one"
