I would like to discuss in this thread who we are in Messiah, His promises, how we are identified with Him as he dwells in us.
His love for us is great, his power mighty, lets stand upon and claim not only the promises of provision strength and the ultimate restoration, but lets also claim His power and might we can bring to bare against ALL the devises and plans of the enemy of our souls, lets through His awesome power take back what the enemy has stolen, and be made whole indeed, walking in absolute certainty of the eternal life given to all who Love Him.

We are all brothers and sisters in Messiah, all following a single Shepherd:

John/Yahanan 10:16, "And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice. So there will be one flock, one Shepherd."

Not masters, but servants:

Matt 23:8-11, “But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi,’ for One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth your father, for One is your Father, He who is in the heavens. Neither be called leaders, for One is your Leader, the Messiah. But the greatest among you shall be your servant."

I think this really shows that we must be patient and humble among many other things, always in His teachings.

Yahanan (John) 14:23, "Yahshua answered, and said to him: If a man loves Me, he will keep My teachings and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him."

John/Yahanan 10:16, "And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice. So there will be one flock, one Shepherd."

1 Corinthians 12:12-18, "For just as the body is a unity, but yet has many members; and though all its members are many, they are one body: so it is with Messiah. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Yahdaim or Greeks, whether slaves or free--and have all been made to drink into one Spirit; For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot should say: Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say: Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the sense of smelling? But now YHWH has set the members, each one of them in the body, as it has pleased Him."

Romans 12:3-5, "For by the unmerited mercy given to me, I say to everyone who is among you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought; but rather, think soberly, in accordance as YHWH has dealt to each one the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members do not have the same function, So we, being many, are one body in Messiah: and each one members, one belonging to another."

1 Peter 2:9

You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Eph 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Eph 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Jesus broke down the wall of partition between Israel and the Gentiles,and made them one man,and the Gentiles if saved are part of the commonwealth of Israel,and inheritors with them,and when they are saved they are a Jew inward.

For the truth is it is Israel all the way.Old Testament covenant given to them.New Testament covenant given to them.The millennial reign of Christ given to them,where there will be no operating Gentile government.New Jerusalem given to them,which the Gentile can be a part of it,and when a Gentile is a part of it they belong to Israel,for their covenant is an everlasting covenant.

God is no respecter of persons,but He had to have a nation that would stand before Him forever,and because of Abraham's obedience it led to the nation of Israel to stand forever,and all who cling to their covenant with God will be a partaker of the inheritance of Israel.

Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

We are new creations in Him! 2 Cor. 5:17

Galatians 6:15-16 (NASB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

[SUP]16 [/SUP] And those who will walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.

Those who walk by this rule/standard ( measuring rod ) of the new creation will experience peace and mercy.

It is a wonderful and unfathomable reality to be in Christ joined to Him as one spirit. 1 Cor. 6:17 Our new creation in Christ which is our new heart is created in righteousness and holiness. Eph. 4:24

May ask what power and might you are refering to? Are you talking about the power and might the apostles walked in?
