The Law of Moses is for Jews. Not for Gentiles.
Gentiles are held under the law of their own heart. As Christians in Christ we come in under Abraham. Not Moses.
Abraham was blessed that his seed would bless all nations. Because Abraham was before the law. This is the inclusion of the Gentiles into the gospel of Christ. Even the people who WERE held under the law of Moses, were not saved by the law. They were saved under the promise of Abraham, believe in your heart and it will be credited as righteousness.
Moses died before he went to the promise land because the law doesn't belong in the promise land. Remember it was Joshua who brought them into the promise land. Joshua is the name of Jesus. And studies show where Jesus walked on the water He was following the same path Joshua kept.
Joshua/Jesus/Yeshua brings us into the promise land. Now, please note the promise land is not a place that you earn what is yours. No, Israel received a promise and inheritance that wasn't theirs. It was given to them. You do not earn your place in the promise land.
Adam was told he would work the land and it would not give it's increase. But the promise land gave plenty of increase. Because it wasn't about Israel working it, but in God giving it. The same is thus with Salvation.
Where people get this twisted is thinking that you can "make yourself saved". You can't. It wouldn't be a gift. That doesn't mean we don't live saved though. Because our "salvation" does more than just renew our spirit. It also works it's way through our soul. And this is repentance/renewing of the mind.
One of the biggest issues today is people thinking the Kingdom of God isn't here today. Even though Jesus said it is within us, among us, and He gave His Spirit. Because people think the Kingdom of God is coming, they have no regard for following the King today. They say, oh I'll be saved, instead of oh I am saved. Because of this being a "disciple" has been relagated to being someone who argues with Scripture. And this is so far from the truth.
Being a disciple is living like Jesus lived. It is loving one another. Laying our lives down for each other like He did for us. And it is following the Spirit of God. This is the Kingdom of God that we live in. This is the promise land.
Yes, there is more Kingdom to come. But that doesn't detract from Jesus' rule and reign through Holy Spirit today.
