My wife worked for eight years with many of these kinds of people. It is no wonder so many of them grow up warped. This kind of treatment is not at all unusual in our city. Thank God usually the grandmothers take over the raising of their children's children.

And that boys mom is laughing. I'm going to write president trump and ask him to replace common core with an emotional intelligence curriculum. This kind of abuse is generational and at its core lie poor coping skills. This mom is a poster child for not knowing how to communicate with a healthy heart.
Problem is imo, it goes beyond communicating poorly. She actually pre-meditated that harmful act on her own child and carried it out probably beyond what she had planned...There is a devil.

Yep, I teared up. What kind of ?human? could do that....
Its anger. Anger is born out of unprocessed pain. I helped my friend facilitate a class that helped people just like this mom. She has zero self control and is completely emotion driven.

On Rez I grew up on it used to be that way. Now the grandmothers (my generation) are just as bad. We are in trouble. Our nation needs triage.

I can't watch it. The title is damaging enough.

Somebody needs to intercede for that precious young boy. I hope this was reported to the police to ensure the boy is being protected and taken care of properly.

With ya on that Auntie. God is going to do a special work in this little boys life, that's the unction I received when praying for him. Now I need prayer to get over this. Lol, just jokin'. The hidden war in the spirit realm is raging hard.

Ok so I promised I'd post some thinking errors that this mom displayed. I know these by heart because I studied them hard.

She see's herself as the victim...not the victimizer

she is not receptive to responsible alternatives

she is unwilling to discuss something disagreeable to her.

she expects an immediate response

she makes her decisions on her feelings only

she is "super optimistic"

she is compulsive in her desire to control the situation

she is manipulating him to gain power and control

she thinks his opinions are worthless

she has no respect for her childs right to think for himself

she views her child as hers to possess

she views herself as unique and better than her child.

she refuses to acknowledge harm to her child

All of these lines of thought have lots in common with the way that a criminal thinks...we all have some of them and we all display some of them to varying degrees. There is a way to turn this thinking into responsible thinking.

On a serious note: WTH are we supposed to ever be able to do to bring "unity" to a country that has such an overwhelming portion of the population eaten up by a vicious moral sickness like this?

That is a great question Willie. And what have they done in the past with "undesirable" people. We have to be careful about that and not get whipped up into an emotional frenzy ourselves. There is more than one side to their coin. Things are pretty ugly. And the reason I think that is because I think the American Indian reservations are the same poverty you see in the innercity and it is pretty hopeless for those people...rampant drug use and brokenness, children being left dead in dumpsters by meth'd out baby sitters. Pretty snazzy world we built.

I suffered emotional abuse as a child being told i was stupid all the time and I would never amount to anything. Needless to say my abuse caught up with me in my late 20's and destroyed my life for several years. No child should ever ever hear that they are stupid or worthless or anything of the sort. This is why we have so many delinquents running around rioting right now as we speak. Mothers are afraid to punish their children out of fear of CPS so they verbally abuse them it does not show in a manor as physical abuse. Children are growing up with no boundaries and no respect. I would have had my butt kicked from here to tim buck two if I had done half the stuff kids do these days.

Priority 1, protect the child whether in or fortunate to make it out of the womb.

Excellent question. Imagine two different utopian societies separated into geographical sections based upon ideologies. People left of center regardless of extreme will have one section of the country and people right of center regardless of extreme will have another section. Heck, two different sovereign nations would be better yet than trying to maintain the insanity of this present day and age.

what got me is that this family didn't appear to be struggling financially. It appeared to be a nice house in a nice neighborhood to me. So it sort of takes away the notion of this type of behavior is only exhibited in the poor with no jobs or whatever. They had a middle class+ home if you ask me.

IDK...that's just what I noticed. I'm sure they had CNN on the telly. Lol
