3and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while. - Rev 20
I suspect that even the release has been initiated.
I suspect that even the release has been initiated.
The text shows that this releasing happens after the thousand years. But notice what happens before the thousand years:
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
The start of the thousand years has the resurrection of the saved. This happens when Christ returns. as this has not taken place yet we then know that the thousand years has not commenced and thus there is no way that anything that happens after the thousand years has happened yet.
