The bible can't be proven? Oh really? That's why the prophecies in it are being fulfilled right now, and have been for several millennia now. People live "happily gay" because they are deceived and see nothing wrong with it. They have no intention of repenting that lifestyle. The BIBLE is the ONLY HONEST book about the "higher being" whose name is God, btw. :/ The bibles definition is for EVERYONE, whether they are christian, catholic or atheist or alien. Satan definitely has you deceived..
I wouldnt take her claims of knowing the bible well seriously : p Thats a common argument with those who oppose the word of God, they tell us that we are supposed to "love our neighbors", as if that compels us to show acceptance and support for sin. Its in no way a good argument, they only take one part of the word of God and ignore the rest of it. If they knew it as well as they claimed, they would know that God does not accept it, and neither will those who follow Him.

There is a difference in hating the sin, and the sinner. I challenge you to give us one verse that says God is okay with homosexuality, and that it's not harmful.. You can't, because such a verse does not exist.

That man probably had to marry her because in those days a woman was always a virgin when given in marriage.
Her getting raped would greatly lower her chances to get married and increase her chances of getting pregnant because there was no birth control. Though it wasn't an easy decision it would be better than leaving her to fend for herself.

I'm not ignoring the rest, we're just arguing about a specific topic so I'll reference scriptures about the topic. You're just desperate to win because you want to. Now I get that after Jesus died for humanity's sins rules like these were lifted but I still think it's disgusting for people at all before or after Christ.You're doing nothing.
