I wonder if I should start a Nevadans thread. I suppose there wouldn't be much to say.

Crop circles? :eek:

Joni Mitchell is from Saskatchewan :)

Rolling Stone has called her "one of the greatest songwriters ever",
and AllMusic has stated, "When the dust settles, Joni Mitchell may stand as the most important and influential female recording artist of the late 20th century". Her lyrics are noted for their developed poetics, addressing social and environmental ideals alongside personal feelings of romantic longing, confusion, disillusion, and joy. {wiki}

She describes herself as a "painter derailed by circumstance." :D

It is four degrees Celsius here and we have fresh snow on the mountains! Woohooooo!!!
Here's the thing that worries me!

Weather!

Yep! I'm in Calgary and it is -4. All I want to do is go back home to the interior of BC where it is 3 right now!

I hate the cold and snow! And you know that besides hockey, that is mostly what Canadians talk about when we get together. With those on the west coast, (or "left" coast!!) also whining about politics, the environment and lately, the American election when they are not bragging about having the warmest winter weather in Canada! And leaving out the part about all the rain! I spent 20 years there!

So so do we need to define what the group will be about so it doesn't degrade down the slippery slope to toboggans, skis and things that go downhill?? Other than that, I'm all in! Just remind me occasionally we have a group, when I get lost in the BDF!

PS For you Americans who don't understand Canadian weather, try Celsius!

yep our country has every variety of everything.
I recall reading somewhere that the nations ought to have been delineated (by men, not God) using LATITUDNAL boundaries, not longitude.
that would mean BC would begin in the arctic and go down to Baha.

YES! (new project for zone)

who knows what a forum or thread would be about.
Canadians using canuck-clichés is okay with me (because they're largely true).

on another note....look at Gatineau!
