Sadly not everyone is like that tho (hugs)
Yeah, I know, sister. It's tough. You're doing a good job. And despite all of the accolades concerning your character, you remain humble. Which is awesome.

I try to be.. Im a bit too afraid for God to humble me if I try to exalt myself. Blessings leave when you do. It just always again makes me sad when people come in who are just completely rejecting towards people my age. It kinda starts to surprise me because people generally started to get more accepting over the last couple of months and then you got the black sheep coming in.

I have great respect for children and teenagers and adults who show integrity, wisdom, and humility. I hear you about being humbled by God, it can be brutal and very painful. So it's best that we obey Him when He asks something of us. But, as long as you're walking with Jesus, you're on the right path.

Yeah. A couple of years ago, I prayed to be refined further by God. Next thing I know, I've been dumped by my first and only girlfriend and a few months on I lose a whole group of really good Christian friends who were like family. I felt like walking away from God during those times, but I didn't. Because, while I didn't see His tangible blessings in my life, I needed someone who made sense of the chaos. And only He did. I certainly don't follow Jesus for pragmatic reasons. LOL

lol yeah. I prayed for endurance, perseverance and patience and the next thing I know is my grades dropped, fighting with my mom nearly every day, I started loosing dozens of friends and I was like.. what the heck.. I couldnt sleep or anything. Then I sat down with a christian friends and he started to laugh and said '' did you pray for perseverence, patience or endurance?'' And I looked at him and said ''I prayed for all 3 and that God humbles me..'' and he burst out laughting and said ''well you got your answer.. If there some things to never pray about, then THAT''
Then I felt kinda stupid and I am glad that season is over lol!! It was multiple months

I've never quite understood why people are so fixated on homosexuality. They act like it's the only sin in the Bible mentions. I think people who are threatened about homosexuality must have latent homosexual tendencies

Oh, seriously? I'm not fixated on it. But homosexuality is a huge issue in our society and has incredibly disturbing consequences for the family unit and the wellbeing of society in general. So you'll have to forgive me if I give a few frogs about it.

Because in the eyes of the world, homosexuality is one of the "worst" sins. But in GOD'S eyes, it is no worse nor better than any other sin. Maybe we "fixate" on it, because it is an unnatural act and we're trying to make the homosexuals see that.

The more you try to convince someone that what they're doing is wrong then the more they are going to push back.

I know..but what are we supposed to do? Are we to agree with them that their sin is okay, God doesn't mind and they can continue in it?

Morning Dude653,

It is not that people are fixated on it, but that those who engage in that life style are justifying and embracing the same-sex life style. They are attempting to make it equal to marriage between a man and a woman. There are also those who claim to be in Christ who do same thing so that they can remain in that life style, citing that God loves them just the way they are and while having no intention of repenting.

I would also have to add that, I don't remember ever reading about God destroying several cities because everyone was a thief, a slanderer or covetous. On the other hand, Sodom, Gomorrah and the surrounding cities were destroyed specifically for homosexuality.

It is the worlds attempt to justify the same-sex life style. It attempts to pollute God's institution of marriage which He created between only a man and a woman.

Beating people over the head with a Bible doesn't work. Especially if you are dealing with someone who doesn't believe in the Bible. You're just beating a dead horse. I just treat them with the same kindness and respect I would treat any other human being. Maybe they'll come around, maybe they won't.

Well, I didn't say anything about beating them over the head with a Bible. I was pointing out that, no one is committing other sins and are attempting to justify them. I also treat them the same as I would any unbeliever and would share Christ with them if given the opportunity. But when they attempt to try and convince me that, that life style is ok, then I am going to contend for the truth.

Just like any other believer, if they repent and believe in Christ, then they can be forgiven and have the promise of eternal life. Like I said, those who are living that life style want to normalize it. And regarding this, they have a lot of support and that because today we have politicians, celebrities, military, attorney's and people from all walks of life who are pushing the agenda of making the LGBTQ as being normal.

I would tell them that they have the freedom to continue living that life style, for that is their choice. But, I am also going to tell them about the consequences of leaving this life without Christ.
