I think trump really does want to do right for the Americans I think he is trying to put together a team that will help him make his changes and i think he really does want Americans to unite. The big thing is I have seen Christian people be pretty ruthless with election topics. I ma sure God was looking down on some people and shaking his head because of the anger and hate that was breeding during the election from some Christian people. I think that if we follow God and let him take the reigns in this Country and just go along for the ride and try to be good Christians it does not matter what happens we can not stop what is meant to be we can only hope for the best either way...I do see bigger problems on the rise with anti trump people and people in general who want to just raise holly hell. I am just going to kind of sit back try not to judge and watch what God has in the works for my life..

I think I have lost 4 friends over this election. Dims are SO sensitive about this whole thing. I guess it is because they were so very completely positive that she was going to win in a landslide.

Perfect example as to the benefits of having high hopes but low expectations. I know I did. I thought the harping was bad before the election...wait until after the inauguration. We are gonna have every butt hurt human wiping their snotty noses over every move Trump makes with their bipolar nonsense.

That pretty much sums it up. They thought they had it in the bag. They really did. I'm going to be honest...I did too. I spent till like 2am that night refreshing and in a near giddy form of awe. haha.

I lost track of the number of "friends" who won't speak to me now. No big deal really...and I'm sure not handing them out participation trophies or wearing a flipping safety pin. lol

They'll surely run out of tears by then, right? :p

The fact that they were so deceived by the media ought to be a wake up call for them.

Not bragging, but I was tucked in at 10pm with Trump slippers at side of the bed dreaming of justice and a future for my kids.

I went to bed fairly early, figuring Trump was going to lose. I got up for a bathroom call around the time things were changing (my wife had stayed up) so I went ahead and watched until he passed 273, or whatever the count was.

I basically woke up the whole house cheering when they finally called PA. Which was like 11 my time. Then I was too pumped to sleep. haha.

I was tracking this cool NBC site that showed the counties, and turnout rate. According to my handy dandy math, he had it about 9:50 CST. Really glad i didn't wake up to a surprise.

I downloaded literally every news outlets app. And refreshed for hours. I'm really not a patient person. Knowing HRC was at least worrying about it and not winning by a land slide made my heart happy but I needed to know who won right then. haha :p

One of our Canadian magazines very recently (it was dated today :p:eek:) had
a cover story on the stunning Trump triumph, but it had a bit of a leftist bent
to it for sure, calling the whole election campaign ridiculous and buying into
some of the democrat lingo and name calling without actually backing up the
charges, and as we know, there is plenty of evidence contrary to their favorite
slings and slurs. Another piece did cover some of these angles, telling the stories
of a black women (among others) who quietly voted for Donald Trump, having
faith that he most certainly could indeed fix the predicament the United States of
America has found herself in after so many years of rule by the left :D

I saw this magazine and read parts of both stories while at the doctor's office today,
and really wanted to take it to transcribe the best parts of the stories for y'all's benefit,
but did not want to steal :D I shall have to look for this special edition of MacLean's mag
on the racks where our supermarkets brazenly display all the Hollywood hype trash et alia :)

I hope you don't consider me one of them as I still consider you a friend....hope you still consider me to be your friend too.

I went to bed around 10:30 sick knowing he was winning. I will never think he is Presidential material and I will wait and see what happens.

For those of you who don't know me I am not an abortion, gay loving, Hillary following Democrat. I'm not sinless and did have an abortion in my younger years, not proud of it and would never have done it again and have asked for forgiveness for it years ago as this is one sin you can't take back... God forgave me....

Generalizing all Democrats just like generalizing all Republicans doesn't work as all kinds of people are everywhere including in church.... Did I loose friends and family over this election? - No not from my standpoint but it has been a brutal election and not a very pretty one to witness by anyone, both sides took cheap shots, dividing this country and even in this Christian chat site.

We are divided and even God calls for unity - now with a heavy heart anyone got ideas how to go about unity so we can get the real show on the road and our Lord Jesus return and really make life great again?

There are those who riot and rampage while committing acts of sedition, burning the flag, trashing public, business, and private property, being criminally violent, and physically abusing those who hold differing beliefs and opinions, and there are those who don't. I don't think anyone would put you in the former category :) Calling them out on their hypocrisy when they cry about needing protection is not generalising at all but telling the truth about what they are doing, being specific. Certainly when I speak of demo/brats I am referring to those of the former group.

Twenty one years ago president Clinton spoke about taking aggressive action to keep out illegal aliens, and deport those already here, and he got a standing ovation. Trump speaks of doing the same and he is labelled a racist.

One of my best friends is a trump supporter. To save the Friendship we just have to agree to disagree and not discuss it
