Id be willing to be its all behind the scene stuff, people warning him not to do such a thing and all that. These are people in powerful positions and all that, and Im sure Hilary has friends and junk. I kinda figured such a thing would happen : p

Ya...I sort of thought the same thing. I 'm sure there are reasons but on the other hand it would be nice to see politicians held accountable for once.

Man I dont know. There are riots in the streets now and death threats along with threats to rape his wife. If he pushes for Hillary to be jailed it will be like an atomic bomb. Micheal Moore will implode. Just may not be prudent.

well, it's not over until it's over

soros and the other puppet masters are dangerous

there are loaded and smoking guns everywhere

I am sure Trump does not think he is just going to eaze into doing everything he said he would...he will be fought all the way I am sure

the dust is still settling

in any event. there is a higher Judge where Clinton is concerned...for her and everyone like her

God knows

It's reported there's already talks of people like Jesse Jackson telling obama to pardon her. He even had the nerve to say "It Would Be Wise in the Name of Justice’ for Obama to Pardon Hillary". So I mean even if it were something Trump would pursue he would be met with resistance. Plus I'm pretty sure Obama asked him about it to explore options to stop him. Just pure corruption.

He doesn't have that Authority. He never had any intention of doing it. That was just an empty promise toget votes

The president doesn't have the authority to put someone in jail. I guess theoretically he could invoke the Patriot Act but other than that he doesn't have that Authority

Didn't you guys get that he was joking? He's a smart man, he knew promising to lock her up would do good on Nov. 8th. And it did. I like it, I think he is going to do well.

You mean the same way that Obama lied to get elected? And just about every other president in the past 150 years?

The "moral outrage" ship has sailed on this type of thing LONG ago.

I really have no idea what anyone is really going to do, especially politicians...
but we could always examine some of the fact.

1. This story just broke in CNN... very odd.
A. CNN has SUPPORTED HILLARY (only doing positive stories about her, and they were even CAUGHT "fixing" the debate questions to rig the debates.)
B. CNN should be HAPPY by this announcement... they should be HAPPY that Hillary isn't going to be prosecuted.
C. CNN isn't acting happy... they're acting MAD at TRUMP, and calling him a LIAR, and a promise breaker... for saying he won't prosecute the candidate THEY SUPPORTED.
D. Isn't this odd?
Isn't it odd CNN would be mad at Trump for saying something they are IN FAVOR OF?????
F. Not at all... even though Trump just said something they are in FAVOR of, they are railing against hin, because they just smear everything he says or does... even when he does something they are IN FAVOR OF.

(Truthfully, this is how politics ALWAYS works. You smear the other guy, even when he does something you like. This is just how it's done.)

2. The Media is undoubtedly ESPECIALLY angry with Trump today.
The Media just had a private meeting with the president yesterday, where THEY reported he berated them for being dishonest in ALL their reporting of the elections.
It was a major "dressing down".
And shockingly... today they have some new negative stories about him.

3. Hillary supporters are still rioting in the streets... it might be considered a reasonable act for Trump to say things about Hillary which are kinder and gentler, to calm them down.
- I'm not saying this is good or bad.
- I'm just saying this would be a reasonable, and expected response, from any politician.

4. What did he really say?
- Trump didn't actually say Hillary was immune from prosecution... he said his administration would not target her.
- And actually... he didn't even say that much. His spokesperson, said something generally to that affect, on a talk show this morning.

Since the DOJ and FBI are supposed to work as independent agencies... there is no reason to believe Hillary is immune to investigations. We really have no idea how things will unfold.

Time will tell.

5. Trump is still 2 months out from being sworn in... it's a bit early to guess how everything will unfold.

- In actuality, he is NOT the president yet.
- In actuality, his administraton is NOT in power yet.
- In actuality, there may be many things he intends to do which are not yet prudent to disclose.
- We simply have no idea.

Time will tell.

6. Is it appropriate or inappropriate to say his administration will not target a rival?
- Many law professors have been commenting that the proper LEGAL course is actually for him to back off his prior rhetoric, and let the DOJ deal with Hillary, as needed, in the future.

7. We're very close to multiple new wars - Doing anything to further inflame the current liberal establishment, or their overseas cronies, is probably a bad idea right now.
- In the past weeks, Obama has put american troops on the Russian border in both Poland and Sweeden... moves which created great hostility with Russia.
- After a brief meeting between Putin and Obama a couple days ago, yesterday Putin moved his MISSILES closer to Europe.
- Syria, which recently announced a desire for reconciliation with Trump, has been a target for invasion, according to Hillary (she said this on several occassions.)

We are literally on the brink of several new wars.

Therefore... maybe it's reasonable for the president-elect to say conciliatory, and calming things, to the liberal establishment and their overseas cronies... instead of saying things to further upset and inflame them.

Conclusion:

1. There is no reason for anyone, not even Trump's most ardent supports, to think he's the messiah... he's just a guy.

2. He's still 2 months from being sworn in... we really have no idea how things will pan out.

3. If we want to attempt a prognostication... we should look at the facts, and the circumstance... not just the rhetoric from detractors.

4. I have no idea what the president-elect will actually do...
but he's not the president yet, and both national and international situations are very volatile and complex.
