I'm recovering from a lengthy illness and am weak all day.
I'm trying to get to all that, but I have to read scripture in full, and research other sources.
dunno about anybody else.
Sorry to hear that. Hope you get well soon.

For me, Ez 38-39 haven't happened yet. However, it has started.

This happened in 1948 and is continuing.

In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely.

The above is Israel today. So, if we disregard Mat 24's Great Tribulation, then Israel will never again be defeated because we see what happens to Gog and those nations with her (all of which are Islamic BTW).

[SUP]14 [/SUP]“Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it? [SUP]15 [/SUP]Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army. [SUP]16 [/SUP]You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.” [SUP]17 [/SUP]Thus says the Lord God: “Are you he of whom I have spoken in former days by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied for years in those days that I would bring you against them?

When the above happens, God steps in and says, "ENOUGH." He then unleashes His wrath.

[SUP]18 [/SUP]“And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord God, “that My fury will show in My face. [SUP]19 [/SUP]For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, [SUP]20 [/SUP]so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’ [SUP]21 [/SUP]I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord God. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. [SUP]22 [/SUP]And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. [SUP]23 [/SUP]Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”’

These judgments seem very similar to Rev 16:

[SUP]17 [/SUP]Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” [SUP]18 [/SUP]And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. [SUP]19 [/SUP]Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. [SUP]20 [/SUP]Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. [SUP]21 [/SUP]And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.

1.Babylon is adorned like a priest

Exodus 28: 5ff – Here is a description of the priestly garments prescribed by God.

Blue, gold, scarlet, purple. Stones: filigree settings of gold; onyx (9), others (17ff), engraved plate of pure gold to attach to a turban, showing on Aaron’s forehead, with "Holy to the Lord" written on it.

Babylon:

Revelation 17:4 - The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality, (5) and on her forehead a name {was} written, a mystery, "BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."

I don't even need to read the link. The Ancient of Days is GOD THE FATHER.

[SUP]13 [/SUP]“I was watching in the night visions,
And behold, One like the Son of Man,
Coming with the clouds of heaven!
He came to the Ancient of Days,
And they brought Him near before Him.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
Which shall not pass away,
And His kingdom the one
Which shall not be destroyed.

The above shows us what happened right after Christ ascended back to heaven. The above follows Acts 1:10. The above is the scene in heaven. The above starts Christ's reign over His spiritual kingdom, the one which we Believers all belong (whether we are alive or asleep).

I started reading this last night.
it's hands down the most comprehensive examination of the questions I've been asking myself.
in some places it raises more questions, and I'm only 2/3s through, but many questions have been settled:

it has 3 parts - islam; Judaism; dispensationalism(xtian Zionism):

A FULL PRETERIST RESPONSE TO “HOLY LAND,” “END TIME,” “HOLY WAR” ESCHATOLOGIES – PART 3 “CHRISTIAN” DISPENSATIONAL ZIONISM | fullpreterism.com

This is a wedding dress of the Ottomans. We are talking about a woman, not a priest, even though the color schemes are similar.

Zeek and Zone,

You are missing the big picture. The false worship is likened to Babylonian worship under Nebuchadnezzar. Did you know that the Babylonian worship was based on sun worship? Did you know that Babylonian priests wore these amulets?

Can you see that there is a cube with numbers from 1 to 36. Add them up and you get 666 as shown on the amulet itself. Did you know that Islam's temple, the Kaaba located in Mecca is a cube? Did you know that the call to worship which goes out (just as it did in Babylon) is based on sun positions?

LOL. Likewise, you will never convince me that Mystery Babylon is Jerusalem or Judaism. Of course Islam isn't in the Bible. The Bible was completed with Revelation in 96 AD. Islam didn't come about for another 530 years.

Muslims (who are followers of Islam) are mentioned plenty. Paul compares and contrasts them in Gal 4 and Isaiah does in Isa 54. Those Gentiles who "trample the holy city" are Muslims. Then there is this:

[SUP]26 [/SUP]And they will dwell safely there, build houses, and plant vineyards; yes, they will dwell securely, when I execute judgments on all those around them who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God.”’”

Just who are "all those around them who despise them?"

In that day there shall no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.

Who are the Canaanites and what is their faith?

[SUP]5 [/SUP]Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet;

What is the faith of the Persian, Ethiopians and Libyans?

[SUP]20 [/SUP]Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence...

Would Muhammad be considered a false prophet?

Yes, God dealt with Israel but He hasn't dealt with ISLAM, the largest false religion on the planet.

Did you know that the word, "Arab" means "mixed people?"

A sword is against their horses, Against their chariots, And against all the mixed peoples who are in her midst; And they will become like women. A sword is against her treasures, and they will be robbed.

[SUP]24 [/SUP]all the kings of Arabia and all the kings of the mixed multitude who dwell in the desert; [SUP]25 [/SUP]all the kings of Zimri, all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes; [SUP]26 [/SUP]all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the world which are on the face of the earth. Also
the king of Sheshach[SUP][/SUP] shall drink after them.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]“Therefore you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “Drink, be drunk, and vomit! Fall and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.”’

Back to the 666 Amulet of Babylonian worship. The 1-36 on the amulet represents the 36 constellations of the universe. Allah is called, "the God of the Universe." Did you know that the word, "universe" does not appear in our Bible but is found repeatedly in the Qur'an?

For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.

You see, our God is called, "the God of the whole earth" while in Islam, their god is called, "the God of the whole Universe." This is an attempt to elevate their god Allah above our God, the Creator.

I would also add that, Rome is that city that ruled over the kings of the earth at the time that John was receiving that information from the angel. And it was also literally built on and is famous for her seven hills.

She was glittering with Gold:

I've never really considered Islam PW.

I don't know if it fits Revelation's timelines.

Isn't Babylon the Mother of false religious systems?

The fulfillment of Ezekiel’s prophecies with reference to Tyre is a stunning chapter in ancient history (cf. 26:1-28:19).

Tyre became the leading city of Phoenicia. The city was located in the plain of Tyre, a small region about fifteen miles long from north to south, and about two miles deep (at most) inland, on the northwestern Mediterranean coast adjacent to Canaan.

Actually, Tyre was two communities — one was on the coast, another on an island about a half-mile off the coast.

About a thousand years before Christ, a Phoenician ruler named Hiram (the Great) fortified the two small islands just off the Mediterranean coast. He connected the two bodies, built harbors at the north and south, reclaimed some territory from the sea on the east, and constructed a wall some 150 feet high on the mainland side. It was a strong fortress, about two and a half miles in circumference (about 150 acres).

Nebuchadnezzar’s Siege

Though Tyre paid tribute to Assyria at times, and was assaulted by Assyrian forces on occasion, she always seemed to be resilient.

In 605 B.C., Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon marched into Palestine and took captive the Phoenician city states, though these communities were still allowed substantial independence with their own rulers, though required to pay tribute to Babylon.

At this time Jerusalem also was attacked, and a number of Jews were taken to Babylon (cf. Daniel 1:1-3).

Subsequent uprisings brought Nebuchadnezzar back to Palestine. In 597 B.C. he assaulted Jerusalem again and took more hostages to Babylon, including Ezekiel.

An Egyptian/Judean revolt prompted the Babylonian ruler to return to Jerusalem again in 586 B.C. This time he destroyed the temple, burned the city, and took more captives to Babylon.

The Babylonian king subsequently directed his attention to Phoenicia. He took Sidon and began an assault upon Tyre. For thirteen years (585-572 B.C.) he besieged the coastal city. He was able to destroy mainland Tyre, but because he lacked a navy, he could not conquer the island portion of the community (see Ezekiel 29:17-18).

The Lord was not through with haughty Tyre, however.
