Theres a huge difference between a 28 year old and a 16 year old. Especially men to women. He's almost twice your age.
Grow up. For someone who is supposed to be mature, you're acting like a bit of an ass.

Meekness, maturity, wisdom, growing in Christ have nothing to do with age. There are few members here who claim they are wiser and more credible because they are older. How meek is that? Tbh, they make me cringe.

look who ever you are I am the young Ladies mom. And I am sick finding someone defending lesbian and gay stuff on a Christian side. Stop attacking my daughter for telling the truth. It is not funny that a 16 year old girl knows more about the Bible than you. Why are you here? Trying to talk young people over to commit a sin that makes god feel sick about? Good trie but you picked the wrong people. Just to get my point across to you = It doesn`t matter if you as a woman have sex with a woman or a dog. It makes god sick. That is what he says. End of story..
Your daughter is high minded and I'm tired of all the accolades that lack wisdom from all you older ladies. She's your daughter, who is a minor arguing with women your age and older. That's not biblical behavior. Hence, it's no wisdom. She has knowledge, not wisdom. Which is in meekness. Of which she is not!

Her and others enjoy running around here bullying certain that they unrighteously judge. Pride and celebrate getting people banned. They act like a bunch of immature brats! Just like a group of uppity high school girls that are insecure and unpopular, ganging up on the new girls. If you can't see the inappropriate nature of a 16 year old discussing adult issues, sexual issues, etc... then you're the one with the problem. Does your husband know the content of his daughter's conversations? I dare say he doesn't! As a man of God, I can tell you that this kind of behavior is not honorable for a young lady in Christ.

As I consider the young ladies in our church that I know to be women of God, well taught and full of good works, they would never engage in this kind of behavior.

We were having a good descent discussion with that gal until your daughter and her friends showed up. They need to watch and learn more. Teach them Titus 2. If we went to church together, your husband and I would've already had this conversation.

Hey you better run and get me banned!

I have daughters, what you think you know, is no match for deceitful charm or life experience. That can run good or bad.

Tinkerbell,

When I talk to someone younger, I expect them to lower their voice, avert their eyes, and refer to me as Sensei (master).
And if it's a female, I expect her to do all of that while also bringing me cool, refreshing glasses of ice tea with just a bit of lemon. (Fanning me doesn't hurt, but it isn't required... I'm not fussy.)

Surely you don't have a problem with something so reasonable?

First the young ladies, now the older ladies are a problem to you too. And to top it all off, you criticize someone's parenting and then proceed to tell a mother how to parent her kid. A mother whose head is in the Bible and so is her kid's.

Who is out of line here?

Whatever, you need to stop kissing it with the group here
Why? Because he's a man who doesn't agree that all the young (and older, apparently) ladies are wrong, like you do?

Oh, I think you do. I really do. Because you have the wrong idea and you being rather stubborn. I don't think you should get a free pass just because you're older than her and also a man.
Example of kissing butt right there. I have a ton of experience with these topics and women, plus I'm a celebrate recovery leader. A hard testimony doesn't give you a disrespect card or the permission to be contentious towards others. Especially when they bring correction. What he said was dismissed bc it was diverted by the condescension claim. If you can keep from being easily offended, you can learn. Hard truth, is still truth. Which....when you look back on this thread, is where it all broke down

I have no problem with someone telling the truth regardless of age. Respect is earned. Being old does not entitle you to be respected specially when you act disrespectful yourself.

I'm not sucking up to anywhere here, mate. I just don't like people falsely accusing people and thinking they're better than someone else just because they've been born with a penis. I don't know why you hate women (of any age), but you really need to grow up and act like the man you think you are.

Like I said in another thread, if someone acts like a turd, I call them out for it. And you're the one disrespecting Demi (and others), not her. Correction must be done in the right spirit. You're just being an ass.

The age of a person is meaningless tbh I've spoken to people in their 60's - 70's who were immature & lack spiritual wisdom.

A thread about homosexuality has turned into a "young people are naive and are full of themselves" thread

If this thread is too much for a female that is Demi's age, shall we bar her from reading the bible too? The bible contains some "adult" stuff.

Iv2ski, you are full of yourself and some horse crap too. That young woman has every ability and right to have thoughts, opinions, and knowledge of the subject of this thread and any other. If any subject is inappropriate for a person you would call a child, it would also be inappropriate for who you would call an adult.

Be careful of how you talk down to and treat these 16 year olds, their generation will be taking care of ours when we are old and infirm.

actually brother honestly my maturity kinda fluctuates, it goes from 18-38 on the hourly lol but honestly as i was debating demi i didn't see her age, yes some of her responses were immature but none are perfect, she has wisdom, misplaced at time, but still wisdom
