The Deadly Dangerous U.S.-Cuba Deal

In December, U.S. President Barack Obama surprised the world by announcing
that America would restore diplomatic ties with Cuba after 53 years of hostility.
The terms of the deal completely favor Cuba. Cuba did not have to abandon communism
or reform its dictatorial governance. The U.S. got nothing out of this deal.

The president bypassing Congress and using yet another executive action to make this deal.
The dangers of America appeasing yet another regime that hates it. But the factor that is more
significant than any of these issues is this: The deal was largely the handiwork of the Vatican.

Pope Francis played a vital role in the president’s decision. “Pope Francis issued a personal
appeal to me, and to Cuba’s President Raúl Castro,” President Obama said as part of his
landmark announcement about it.

In early summer of 2014, the pope appealed to both leaders by letter, urging them to
exchange prisoners and improve relations. The Vatican later hosted a clandestine
meeting between the two sides in Rome.

However, it was actually Francis’s predecessor who put the plan into motion.
In 2012, Pope Benedict xvi began pressuring the United States to normalize
relations with Cuba. Francis carried on Benedict’s efforts. After months of
working behind the scenes, the momentous deal was sealed.

Its announcement surprised the world.

Here is Canada's PM Justin Trudeaus statement of condolence to the Castro family:

“It is with deep sorrow that I learned today of the death of Cuba’s longest serving President.
“Fidel Castro was a larger than life leader who served his people for almost half a century. A legendary revolutionary and orator, Mr. Castro made significant improvements to the education and healthcare of his island nation.
“While a controversial figure, both Mr. Castro’s supporters and detractors recognized his tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for “el Comandante”.
“I know my father was very proud to call him a friend and I had the opportunity to meet Fidel when my father passed away. It was also a real honour to meet his three sons and his brother President Raúl Castro during my recent visit to Cuba.
“On behalf of all Canadians, Sophie and I offer our deepest condolences to the family, friends and many, many supporters of Mr. Castro. We join the people of Cuba today in mourning the loss of this remarkable leader.”

Smh, Canada, whats going on up there!? Has this guy read a history book, ever? Would someone go fill him in,please!

I like your style!

And no worries, President Trump will neutralize them.
One cannot physically neutralize a spiritual entity.

Besides, Trump has already back pedaled on a lot of his campaign promises. What makes ya think he's going to keep this one?

I can't see that this news about Castro changes anything,
since he's already had a successor in power for a long time.

I mean, it's huge international news that such a famous and powerful person has died...
but that doesn't have to predicate any significant changes.

But who knows.
I'm wrong about lots of things.

It probably offers closure to many affected Cuban victims of this tyrant. I'm sure Hollywood is mourning....

You may be right on both counts.

It's possible that much of his regime's power was tied directly to his own name and persona.
I really have no idea.
I'm sure the State Department knows.
I'm sure plenty of experts know.
I'm just not one of those experts... I'm pretty ignorant about Cuba.

I know they have some good musicians.
That's all I've got, lol.

Yes, he was one of the most evil dictators of our time, but a part of me grieves for what he didn't get to experience and that is having a relationship with his creator no matter how many people he hurt and families he destroyed while in power he deserved to be forgiven, but denied something that was given to us freely ya know

Of course you can:

1: Get behind me Satan.

2: Kill them -- all.
Demons are the source of Isis/Al Qaeda and the like. You can kill the humans that do their bidding but the demons will just find new hosts. That's why we can bomb them until two days to tomorrow and they'll keep coming. No man made weapon will ever prevail against this enemy, and you can't kill them all.

Get the behind me satan is how you deal with these. But that is a spiritual thing.

Castro's old news... What surprises me is that no one has started a thread about Jill Swine and now Hillary's team's push for a recount! :p

And why does Hillary still have a team?! Didn't they get the memo that the election's over??

Hellooo; said:
People celebrating in the streets in FL over the news

The Bible forbids gloating over the defeat of an enemy: Proverbs 24:17. It should first be remembered that Castro would never have come to power if it were not for the tyranny of Mafia puppet and dictator Batista. But all that is history now. The important thing is that reform is now on the horizon:

Castro's Death Could Change Cuba Reform Dynamic

... and that should be good news for everyone.

First Hillary loses, now Castro is dead. Liberals across the globe must be lurching in anguish at their despair.
Yes, and "kingdom now" preachers claiming Christians be all about to take over the earth!
