Yeah, never heard of it 'till this...........but, yeah, no big problem realizing it is NOT Scriptural. As for preachers who are "on board" with this...........well.........goodness.........sigh

But then, there are quite a few theological ideologies of unScriptural origins that some preachers are "on board" with. :)

Oh, yeah, I DECIDE what is Scriptural and what isn't! Why me? 'Cuz I said so!
:)

If you search doe kingdom now / dominionist theology, you'll see there there are folks who believe that Christians are going to take over the governments of entire nations and rule the world for Christ... and it's only then does Jesus come back to start His 1000 year reign.

This is not biblical and scriptures have to be twisted and taken out of context to arrive at this conclusion. Numerous popular preachers are on board with this and it's another trick of the devil.

The sad thing is... many TV preachers are deceiving the masses and somebody needs to counter their garbage.

Actually, Truman and Eisenhower gave much support to Batista over the years. His tyranny is what prompted so many revolutionaries from Spain and Latin American to support Castro and Guevara. Though their forces were small compared to Cuba's army, they were highly motivated and entrenched in the mountainous areas whose inhabitants gave them sanctuary. Thereafter Batista fled to Dominican Republican and sent millions in Cuban taxpayers wealth to his Swiss accounts. A very sad history, indeed. Now, hopefully, the Cubans will have a better future.

Yes, and meanwhile many are falling away from the faith in favor of feel good story telling and chasing the pleasures of the flesh as Christians refuse to die to self and live unto the Lord.

Christians that know their Bible need to speak up and bring some balance to help people get out of the ditch...

It's so sad that so many believe that just cause someone has a big church and is on TV that automatically means they are anointed and are teaching truth.

Didn't say it was their desire/design.........simply that the US Government had much to do with his climb to power, and rise of stature on the world stage..... Many bone headed policies/actions were taken in the beginning of all of this, and they continued for what now? Over 60 years?

Given their marvelous handling of the Native Americans, I suppose one should not be surprised though......

If only it were that easy. The problem is that they hide amongst civilians, kinda like the Vietnam cong did in Vietnam
Same
issue as Israel and the Palestinians. I suppose you have to have inside knowledge. Whatever way we go its going to be a hard road.

Little known fact about Cuba. Castro allowed many small churches in the countryside to remain. Until recently they could not expand or renovate the buildings. As of last year new churches could not be built, but renovation of buildings is now allowed. If you are interested in missionary work in Cuba, contact your denomination's missionary board. With the death of Fidel, I see a rapid transition to a more open Christian society.

How can anyone fall away from something they are not in possession of in the first place? 1 John 2:19~ They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us. Yes the Truth needs to be spoken to those who are deceived, while they prefer to have their ears tickled.

Yes, indeed. The government, especially under Eisenhower, supported the wrong leadership thereby creating the injustices and, ultimately, the instability that led to Castro's ascension.

I have a 20 gauge. Had a 22 but it got stolen
A 20ga will work just fine... load it with #1 buckshot and rest easy. Use slugs if you have to reach out a little bit.
