I will also stand on the word of god & in my opinion my friend you're an old fashioned traditionalist whose main role in life is to hold the modern church back but you traditionalists will not succed!
What makes you think God is going to change for you?

The victory is already won in Christ. If you received a conditional salvation you did not get the real deal. You cannot submit to Christ and withhold a pet sin. The gospel has not changed and there are still men who reject the gospel.

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

In answer to the question in the OP, take a look at this verse from Deuteronomy 22:
The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

Does it say that only Hebrews who do this are abomination unto the LORD? Does it say only those who did so 3000 years ago were an abomination? No, it doesn't say that. It doesn't put a time or cultural limitation on it.

If God finds it an abomination, it shouldn't bother us to much if some of us find it to be an abomination/repulsive/disgusting. I find it rather disgusting, in particular, if a man is dressed up in drag trying to be an attractive woman. It's also very self-destructive, too. I forget the suicide rates on those who go all the way to the extreme of transgendered operations. I think it was around 40%. I read an article from someone from Johns Hopskins who helped develop the perverted procedure who said their hospital got out of it when they found out how destructive these operations were.

The ancient world had their versions of transgenders, eunuchs who dressed up like women. (They probably weren't as artistic about chopping them up back then, but it's the same thing. Post-op transgendered men are eunuchs who dress like women.) They had people who engaged in homosexual activity. Philo, in the first century wrote about them. He thought transvestites, transgenders, those who performed homosexual acts, etc. all deserved to die.

The Canaanites had plenty of sexual perversion. We think of religion as promoting at the least decent morals. Back then, their religion didn't. They had fertility rituals of all types, and sexual immorality as a part of it. Polytheism is often that way. Greeks had an idol for drinking and so they could drink and make it a religious festival, too. Hinduism is the same way. People used to sacrifice to Kali, and there is a goddess for prostitutes in Hinduism. Any nasty sin has a god attached to it for polytheists.

They used to mix sexual perversion with idolatry. But that doesn't make sexual immorality okay if we divorce it from paganism. First century pagans mixed paganism with prostitution, but hiring atheist prostitutes doesn't make prostitution okay. Prostitution is forbidden and idolatry is forbidden. Paul teaches against both issues separately in I Corinthians. So we can't say prostitution is wrong only because of idolatry.

And we shouldn't say that cross dressing was wrong only because we guess that it was mixed with paganism like so many aspects of Canaanite daily life were. If all who do such are an abomination to the LORD, then those who do so without a religious motivation are as well.

I found an excellent article online that suggests God is both male & female, in Him is the fullness of both(taken from the book of Genesis) So it should not be surprising to realize that we as humans all possess maleness and femaleness within us.So to sum up:- It is clearly obvious. If someone is a Christian and is also a cross dresser they are simply that - a Cross Dresser that is also a Christian. There should be no guilt or condemnation associated with that. And, in fact, with a better understanding of what the Bible is truly saying within the context in which it was written, other Christians need to take positive steps to bring cross dressing Christians into the fold of the church. We are not to judge one another. We are not to condemn one another. We are told, no we are commanded, to LOVE one another. "And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength; this is the first commandment. And second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these." Mark 12:30-31.

Therefore i'm not ashamed of being a cross-dressing Christian
While God may be beyond gender, having existed before human gender was created, that does not mean God is both man and woman. Man and woman are defined by their difference from eachother -- a difference which God created with a purpose.

You should seek God's wisdom on why God made man and woman two distinct parts of humanity, because if what you say is true, God would have made us all hermaphrodites. Humans that are born intersex, are extremely rare (a lot more rare than transgender folks who just -feel- dissonant). So it's most likely that God made you a man or a woman, and your dissonant feelings about that are not coming from God.

Of course God loves you and will help you with whatever issue is making you feel unmanly or unwomanly. But that is not the same as telling you that whatever you feel is the truth. And without the real truth, there's no real love. If you sub in your own truth to shelter yourself from whatever pain is making you feel dissonant, you will end up further from God's love, which is much more sincere than a politically correct religious spirit's version of love.

The world's version of love says, 'I love you, do whatever you want'. God's version of love says, 'I love you no matter what you do, but I want us to do things together'. There is no power to change in the world's form of love, because it is based around the self, not on something bigger than the self. Similarly your doctrine on crossdressing is based around making people comfortable with their feelings in this life, instead of transforming them into a new creation. It's actually more comfortable to put all our identity problems on the cross and let God cleanse us and fight our battles for us.

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Nothing against you personally, but I believe the enemy creates these identity issues to divide people and cause them to fight. As long as you accept that your feelings, your soul, and the way the world thinks, is what defines you, you will have to defend that worldly identity with worldly doctrines. And it will come between you and God. God is not the author of confusion (1 cor 14:33). This is part of the spiritual war we are all fighting, and we all need God's help, but we have to let God help us. God has something much better for you.

If we love cross-dressers, we can tell them to stop being cross dressers. The Bible says that all who do such are abomination to the LORD. It doesn't limit it to context, time, situation, etc. If God doesn't like it, why should you?

Do you love God enough to stop dressing like a girl and grossing everyone out. 99% of cross dressers look disgusting when they do it, and the ones that don't disgust people who don't.

If you were walking around with your pants unzipped toilet paper stuck to your shoe, and dried snot hanging out of your nose, I may just be kind enough to tell you about these things, because it just looks bad. If I just ignored it and said nothing to you when you walked out in public like that, so I could be entertained by everyone's reaction, would that be loving?

Cross dressing looks bad. But worse than that, God doesn't like it. So you shouldn't do it.

You're completely deceived and delusional if you actually believe that God told you that He is okay with you cross-dressing..:/ I don't know what article you read, but I'm positive that nowhere in it, it says "I the Lord, am okay with your cross dressing." WE don't need to judge you, because one day soon GOD will judge you.

God spoke through Moses on the issue. You should know that it is a serious thing say that God has spoken. Why does what you believe disagree with what God told Moses on the issue?

It seems like you are just looking for something to confirm what you already believe so you will feel comfortable cross-dressing.

If God made you a man, be a man.

Are you putting more trust in man's words, than you are in GOD'S word? I'm sorry but unless you were born with boobs and a vagina, you're not a woman.. lol.. Nor should you wear women's clothes, shoes, and makeup.

Lesson one. God made male and female with both (obviously) with SEPERATE gifts and looks etc.
