Lol, Okay, it took me a minute. Very nice. But when you season the font with yee salt, make sure you don't baptize the baby, saltwater in the eyes is not good.

I think the last one I read was The Hobbit, I reread it. I'm reading a book that's not very good, called The Cross Gardener. I need to reread my Dickens Christmas book this year. What about you?

Martin Luther sermons. Gospel Remission by Jeremiah Burroughs. The Duty of Self-Denial by Thomas Watson. Christians Get Depressed Too by David Murray.

I think that is easier to do with nonfiction books, since you can take sections at a time. Would you mind telling me one of the things that resonated with you, jumped off the page?

From Burroughs, the idea that often we seek with much desire to be forgiven of our sins, but we're often not as passionate about being delivered from our sins, and that's a huge issue.

One of the big debates in Christianity is which comes first? Deliverance or Forgiveness? I guess if you believe you must repent first, deliverance comes before forgiveness. But if forgiveness comes first, there is no deliverance without forgiveness. Like Pilgrim, the burden rolls off at the base of the cross- he doesn't throw it away before he gets there. But I guess it depends on your point of view of the sequence.
