One of the big debates in Christianity is which comes first? Deliverance or Forgiveness? I guess if you believe you must repent first, deliverance comes before forgiveness. But if forgiveness comes first, there is no deliverance without forgiveness. Like Pilgrim, the burden rolls off at the base of the cross- he doesn't throw it away before he gets there. But I guess it depends on your point of view of the sequence.
I'm trying to avoid debate on here, so I'll hard pass going further on that. :p But yes, that's an interesting topic. More than happy to discuss in PM, just don't need the clutter from others who want to fully engage.

Who are you really?
Are you really Stilly?

If so, are you willing to submit yourself to our new dept. of highly unscientific DNA testing?

We'll need: a tooth (we can't return the tooth, but we'll give you a tooth for a tooth), and an eye (same deal as the tooth) and a hand (please only send the hand that offends thee).

Also, please shake some dust off your sandals... we'll need to check that too.

Oh you weren't. I know how forums go, and once a view is out there, the sharks do circle. Opinions = chumming the waters.
I chummed it pretty good, Harry Potter and deliverance and forgiveness. Should be plenty of sharks around.

Oh it's not a morbid word at all from most of my reading. Just a good way to convey that something is totes serious.
I know, it's a lame joke on my part. I'm hit and miss....mostly miss :(

I am new to this site, I've been on a couple of other forums hoping to find people who would like to read books together and discuss them, an online book club, if you will. I was wondering if there is a subforum like this here, or if anyone would like to read and discuss books with me, or direct me to a website with bookclubs. I tried a book club at my local library, but it was unsatisfactory as each person made one comment and that was that.

I am personally open to reading anything, although I prefer classics.

If anyone is interested, let me know through either pm or this thread.
I used to read those road maps, but now they're obsolete..

I've read the distant faces of those I've yet to meet..

I used to read the minds of german shephards and maltese...

Now I just read my future in those sweet fortune cookies

:p

Why don't you read dogs' minds anymore? That's a talent!

What was your last fortune from a fortune cookie?

Believe it or not, that last fortune cookie actually inspired me to write that and I just read it before I made that post. My fortune cookies have been eerily on-point lately. It said, "It's a good time to start something new". The reason its so on-point is because I've just decided to go into business for myself. It's been something I've been thinking about for the past few months. :)

Car detailing. :) I've actually thought about going into it a few times over the years but this time I looked into it seriously and I've already been detailing mine and my parent's vehicles for years and I've even painted my own car and know how to do paint correction and even minor bodywork, plus I'm sort of OCD about cleanliness and neatness so it should be a perfect fit for me. :)

Oh and I love cars!
