I got two A's and two B's after really thinking i was not even going to be able to finish because of my neck being so bad... 3.50 GPA not great but I hope to raise it next semester.

Interesting, what if someone is brilliant at maths and gets a top grade but rubbish at art
and gets a bottom grade?
Would the lower overall average stop someone getting a job.
Just curious as in the UK each subject is graded independently.
Some jobs or university's specifically want good grades in certain subjects
but they would not bother if you failed in others.
well the arts will put your general value down. Usually the Employer looks at the grades that are important (german,english, math and PE) which have more weight. I dont know exacly how the buisness folks do it but these 4 have more weight than smaller grades.
So if they calculate professionally the arts F wouldnt make a big difference. But if you have a bad grade in PE your grade gets hurt the most.

Ok I get that Demi, but Hawking is a genius and your system now has him down as average? So I am saying that taking a mean of all subjects just rewards all-rounders, not brilliance. For instance, I am USELESS at maths and science, but I get good marks in english, history, geography and religious studies, and ok in French and Latin (amazingly). But I bet my GPA would be average or just below.
Well it can destroy you but it can also save you. My A in English is what saved me that I was able to go to college already. lets see, Ill guess your math and science is not F lol

Tho french (its just so hard unlike any other language ive studied) and text processing/editing is harder than the rest for me besides math.. my best grade so far in math in this semester was the 3- in my first exam..the second was a 4-
