This thread is designed for us to share wisdom with each other in order to help keep us safe physically, emotionally and spiritually, and through it all, may we help make life a little better for each other as well as those in our midst. Whether its wisdom shared from Scripture or street-smart awareness, let's share with one another and create a thread that becomes a mine of wealth. God bless you, beloved.

My first tidbit of wisdom:

I was an EMT for several years, and one thing is true, I responded to hundreds of motor vehicle accidents, and through it all, I never unbuckled a dead body. Seat belts don't save every person from every accident, but they sure do increase the chances of surviving a serious accident. Buckle up for safety, my friends.

I find this to be quite the opposite. Your posts are always spiritually uplifting. You have been quite a blessing to me and I want you to know that your humble service to the Lord has not gone unnoticed.

Awww thanks tourist, how sweet...

Since we are talking about road traffic, this instantly sprung to mind; please do not under any circumstances drive whilst under the influence of drugs (even prescription drugs which cause drowsiness) or alcohol and please please please do not use your mobile/cellphone whilst driving. Nothing is more important than people's lives.

Proverbs 14:16 - One who is wise is cautious and turns away from evil, but a fool is reckless and careless.

Proverbs 13:20 - Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.

I do neither of these things and that is especially true while driving. I wear my seat belt also. The safety of any passengers and those on the road are paramount to me. Good advice to always follow, especially where I live because of the traffic congestion and out of state drivers who aren't used to the area.

That's one thing my parents drilled into my remembrance. "Put your seatbelt on". lol.. And I do to this very day, it's an automatic reaction. :)

Never challenge a coworker to a fight when you are wearing a skirt and heals. Or better yet, I should never be left alone so I don't do stuff like this lol

Great wisdom. Unfortunately given to someone with a lousy memory for productive wisdom.

At 20, everyone worries about what others think of them.
At 40, everyone stops caring what others think of them.
At 60, they realize no one was thinking of them.

Be wise -- turn 60 at 20.
