1. God promised something to Abraham. Agreed?
Two kinds of promises one temporal (seen) the other eternal(not seen)
2. You believe that some promise to Abraham applies to his children. Agreed?
The fleshly promises yes as in Abraham's seeds .But they have no thing to do with the spiritual "seed", Christ . Christ said dead flesh without the spirit essence of life profits for nada, It cannot enter heaven so it returns to the lifeless, spiritless dust is was taken from .
John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
A clear distinction between the things of God and those of men must be made . If not the antichists moves in.
3. Christ said to unbelieving Jews they are not the children of Abraham. Agreed?
Christ said if he had a mind to he could raise up many lively stones to make up the spirutl house of God . Not the fleshly house of Abraham.
Matthew 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham "to our father" : for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
The born again Jew as inward has our father in heaven "to our father"
Christ informed us to call no man father on earth for one is in heaven .(not seen the eternal.)
I would ask is it to hard to think not.
its what happened with the Jew they usurped the authority of our father in heaven giving it to the flesh or Abraham
4. Still, you believe that the unbelieving Jews who are not the children of Abraham should inherit the promise to Abraham. Agreed?
The gospel effects the same quickening the soul no matter what kind of skin a man has .
And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believeAnd God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.Act 15:7
