Men in public will always hold back tears.

Empathy, sympathy, sadness, loneliness... you'll never see it unless we think your close enough to be privileged for us to let you see us do it.

Now, movies that got me good?

Greenmile (why'd they have to kill the guy?!?! WHY??!?!!?! HE DIDN'T DO IT!!!! then... then... he knows he didn't do it but he lets them do it any way?!?! WHY!)

Notebook (that's a true sign of love right there, thick and thin)

erm... I forget if there was another one... there are quite a few good anime's out there that get me close though, the japenese are great at telling a story I tell you that.

I'll try my hardest not to do it with witnesses though, but those movies did get me and I think it's only credit to the movie makers and writers for telling such a touching story!
 
Hehehe it doesn't take a soft man to cry at those movies, it does however take a cold hearted man not to cry during them :P

Come on guys don't be cowards, what movies, songs or moments made you cry?

The Notebook made me laugh more than cry, I can enjoy a romance film but that took it to whole new levels of ridiculous :rolleyes:

Terminator 2 got me good, but then I was 11 years old and Arnie just got melted, that was harsh :D

I felt particularly bad for the big hunk of metal as well, did you feel sad when the baddies beat up johnny 5 in short circuit 2? (or "blew him up" in the first one :P)

Johnny 5 was so cool :cool:, I thought it was rough when all the others went bad, and when he had to rebuild himself in the electronics store, he had a rough old time of it but he was so tough I always knew he'd survive so I was able to hold back the tears. :)

Now you've reminded me of those films I'm going to have to watch them again, it's been far too long.
 
Short circuit (especially the original) is hilarious when you watch it for the first time as a grown up!

There's so many innuendo's you miss and so many more jokes!
They really made a great movie with that one, I think the 80's movies overall are better than today's (story wise and how they tell it at least).

A few gems after the 80's exist but in comparison to volume 80's and I guess early 90's as well.
 
When God moves his heart in prayer if need be or any time he is okay with it himself. Who am I to tell him what to do? Should I put any man in a box just to suit what kind of concept I want him to be or accept him as he is? What is acceptance and love any ways? Isn't it about allowing the person to be themselves or is it about throwing rocks at the person because they want to break down and cry. I would rather the person be real with me then be a phony then to try and control their crying urges just to please moi. Didn't Jesus Christ show any sort of feelings or not? I always thought he did besides it's in his word is it not? I think of this verse when I think of any such weakness because men aren't suppose to show it. Says who and who made human beings any ways? God or us? I didn't choose any one of them because it's not for me to choose for some one else it's their own choice. My brothers and sisters in the Lord can cry any time so choose around me!

That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!! A man without a hockey team??? I cant even comprehend that. Its like peanut butter without bread, its like a car without wheels, its like a day without the dawn... lol!
