Post and discuss your New Year's resolution ( Bible based )-----example------one year I sought to start giving more money into God's kingdom (tithes & offerings)---- it changed my life. ---- it took few years, but how I am living now is a result of that decision...Grace and Grace

hmmmmm.......I don't make New Year's resolutions....or promises.....or vows

have had too many people make them to me and been disappointed...

it's more like, every day you get up and every day is a new day...yes?

every day is a chance to change......seems to work better

are New Year's resolutions biblical? I'm thinking...no they are not

how about resolving not to make new years resolutions, because

'do not take an oath at all, either by heaven or by earth'

?

Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one.
Matthew 5:37

I don't get New Years resolutions..if you're going to do something just do it, what changes into a new year? If you really wanted to do that thing, you would've already done it.

I think when new year comes we want to be prepared in some new fresh way-----yes, we "should" be doing this all year...
