I played for 6 years, and I still sucked. I haven't played since senior year, and I don't know how much I remember. I'll have better luck teaching Astrid ASL lol. ;)
Argh!!!! 6 years of practise, and then you stop?

You wanna learn the trumpet and piano? I recommend you to chose one of them. Or mayby you can learn the drums? Then we can form a cc band??? :D

I thought I read somewhere she'd played the piano too, maybe I dreamed that :p

I did try to play drums once, it didn't sound good.... base guitar is slightly easier

but I'll stick with the piano, easier to rehearse

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say do-re-mi (cept from in the song)

No worries, we also learned C-D-E-.... I can do both...

We use C-D-E mainly for chords... C7 - A13 - Fm9 and such things...

We say si or B. I guess it is a Norwegian thing... For sharp # we say "kruis" (cross)
