I emulate extraversion as needed by situation. Usually if I do it when it's not necessary, I probably just shouldn't be doing it at all.

On the contrary, if I as an introvert am out in public it is a huge relief to have several chattery extroverts around so I can be my preferred wallflower-self. (Des, if your conversation is all you crack it up to be, you'd be invaluable to me in social situations).

I used to spend a lot of time at the pool.

My friends thought I was there to ogle the girls...

but I was just an aquavert.
