If God already chose us before the foundation of the word, then we were never the object of God's wrath. That's Calvin's logic. It fails the test of the word of God.

That's not Calvin's logic, it's yours. Go quote Calvin denying the elect being lost as you claim. Oh, that's right, you can't do it.

Besides being in grave error, you're also disingenuous as well. But it is apparent you'll do anything to appear right, blaming others, denying your own statements, no matter, anything so you're right even when proven wrong.

God chose His elect. It's funny, is it not, that you just don't use Scripture, and then rewrite the narrative at the same time. I keep hearing this faint echo 'Yea, hath God said...?' and I keep showing He in fact has.

Yes, God has said and He refutes you my friend. He chose us unto salvation, I've given many Scriptures showing this, and you continue on the Romans 9:20 path.

Technically speaking, God postponed the destruction of Nineveh..........and Nineveh was so completely destroyed that even Alexander the Great marched right by it without knowing..........

God said that He was going to destroy them in forty days(technically speaking), yet God did not destroy Nineveh in forty days. Why? God changed His mind based on the behavior of Nineveh.
 
It has been a mystery to me why one person will accept the Lord and another person simply will not. Eve could have said no to the serpent, Adam could have said no when Eve offered to him the fruit. Cain could have repented and offered the correct offering. The sons of God did not have to take the daughters of men. The lists goes on throughout the bible...the Spirit and the Bride say come. I believe it is a simple matter of choice, some choose God, others do not choose God. In my case I know that God gave me a wonderful opportunity to accept Christ as Savior...however God made it clear that I HAD TO CHOOSE.

Jonah 3:4, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

Nope, not in forty days like God had declared. Why not? Did God change His mind?

Verse 10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

I hear ya.....did God destroy Nineveh or not....YES or NO..........Did God destroy the generation he spared in Egypt during their wilderness camping experiment? Did God know they would repent or not at the preaching of Jonah? We can go in circles all day.........God is God and does what he wants when he wants.....He raised up the Babylonians, used them to work his will against Judah and turned around and judged the Babylonians because of how they brought the judgment of God against Judah........

I was once an object of God's wrath, but because I believed the gospel of Christ, God changed His mind. I am no longer an object of God's wrath.
 
The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world shows us that God always had it in His mind that God the Son would die for His creation and that those who would repent and come to Him would be saved. So it was never in the mind of God to destroy those who would repent and turn to God.
