Thank you for the mindful effort. I now have it on my desk top because it helps to know what this administration will do these next few years

I am very OFFENDED with you stating that OBAMA is MY savior..........I demand an apology for this......

This is a prime example of the BLIND HATRED for anyone who dares to say something less than wonderful about Trump here by you and a few others. It is disgusting, and completely unGodly.

Well, just keep your eyes open.

He's already doing great things, despite the Dims fighting his election, even to this very minute. I have heard some people say "Those jobs were coming back anyway." Not true. Your own Savior King, Obama, clearly came out and openly declared there was nothing to be done for those "lost" jobs.

Trump immediately proved that Muslim coward, flat-wrong.

I think Obama went so far into mocking he made mention of a magic wand...

All of ths (well......most) sounds good.

I would like to mention however that many of these Promises are not within the DIRECT POWER of the President. It wll require both Houses of Congress to even begin on many of them.

I like that he wrote them down though, for now we have a "Grading Scale" to see how he does as President. Risky, or maybe bold, of him to do this, or, maybe, like with many of the promises he made during the Campaign........once elected, he simply changed his mind, and his supporters didn't even blink. Rather, they just said something like......."well, we didn't really think he actually meant he would do such and such........."

Anyway.......thanks.......
I never liked that his supporters thought that that was okay.

Well, I originally wrote that as an answer to the people I mentioned who were claiming the jobs were coming back anyway.

But, since you choose to own it, I will gladly redirect it, and include you too.

Well, YOU quoted MY comment when you posted the offending comment, so, what exactly would I (or any other person with a modicum of intellect) think? It was clear that you were directing that comment at me personally, else wise why would you QUOTE me? As you often do, you try to deflect the truth of your intentions when called out........there is no truth in you.

And, as you did not apologize for the bald face lie you accused me of in that offending comment, I have no further desire to converse with you, or even acknowledge your existence Sir............

That is a given to a point. However his comment directly accused me of NOT being a Christian, nor a believer in and follower of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, AND KING.

That he, and a few others here, are allowed to make such assertions with impunity concerns me greatly.

However, the one way to deal with him is to do so as I dealt with Sirk.........and yet another undeserving of Christian Fellowship person makes the Ignore List.

Problem solved.

I just wanted to share an interpretation of why Obamacare is bad.

For instance, pretend farmer Joe and farmer Dan sell apples in a free market. They each sell one basket of apples for $1. You regularly buy one basket of apples from Joe each year.

Then the government passes the Affordable Apples Act. The AAA says that Joe's apples don't meet their standards and if you don't buy one basket of Dan's apples each year then you will be fined $3 at tax time.

You could buy one basket of apples from Dan for $3.50 and be better off in this scenario than buying one basket from Joe for $0.51 because of the $3 penalty for not buying from Dan.

Joe's business will suffer, you will spend more money on apples that you don't necessarily need, and Dan will be very pleased in his government.

His first executive order was to raise mortgage rates for homeowners.... so literally his first act as president is something that hurts Americans

As Paul Harvey would say : "And now for the rest of the story". In his last week in office, B. Obama instituted a myriad of changes whose consequences would fall upon the shoulders of incoming POTUS, Donald Trump. Included in these "for the people" changes were a 1/4 % decrease in mortgage insurance costs (not mortgage rate) for first-time home buyers with only a 3.5 % down payment at their disposal. It's interesting to note that Obama did not institute this "change" a year or two ago .. or perhaps three or four years earlier during his own presidency .. but it is easily discerned as to why he didn't. He didn't because he knew that this action greatly increased the risk of yet another bank bail-out for mortgage holders at the cost of the tax paying public. Everybody knows .. or should know the burden this placed on the taxpayers last time around. The role of this insurance fund serves as a guarantee for money lent to those institutions who take on these higher risk mortgages .. and actually make it more viable for those with little money to put down to actually purchase their first home. No insurance guarantors ... no low down payment homes purchased. It is that simple. Would you yourself lend money to someone that carried a high risk of no return ? Of course not. Pretending to "care about the people" is easy .. and is intentionally and deceptively misleading when the burden of such irresponsibility falls upon the shoulders of somebody other than yourself. This is how your former president (and liberal democrats) roll. He would have done it during his own presidency if he honestly thought it was a "good idea". He knew it wasn't .. and didn't care. Same intent with his newly instituted "sanctions" against Russia. If Trump seeks to work alongside Russia in the future for a worthy cause, the liberal press can now easily dupe it's readers into believing that Trump is a "traitor" .. or a communist .. or some other ridiculous claim to help serve their own deceptively corrupt and dishonest means of working the political system. And apparently, there are multitudes willing to fall prey to it, like yourself. Do yourself a favor and educate yourself. You make yourself look foolish .. and unlearned. BTW .. this "increase instituted by Trump " that you speak of unknowingly is approximately $10 a month on a &100,000.00 mortgage. If that's enough to prevent a homeowner from making their payments, they have no business purchasing a home.
You might want to read this and remember what a disaster it was the last time the lenders enticed people to go buy more house than they could handle.

Why are you saying this to me? I asked this guy Dude a question and you start lecturing me about something else.

The only answer I wanted was a simple "yes" or "no".

Next time: Ask me what I meant before you start assuming things.

I think he was trying to answer your question with informative information.

He could have said, Yes Trump raised mortgage rates. Instead he said, Obama lowered mortgage rates just before he left to make Trump look bad.

His answer made me look like I was a supporter of the former president. He had no business saying that.

Trump starts out his 'buy American' campaign on the wrong foot as his hats are made in Asia:

‘It’s made in Vietnam!’ Origin of red Trump hats shocks many

The president's call to "buy American and hire American" drew cheers, but the baseball caps people wore were made in China, Vietnam and Bangladesh

'It's made in Vietnam!' Origin of red Trump hats shocks many | Asia Times

By contrast, the women who oppose Trump create hats that are made in the USA:

Pussyhat Project is sweeping nation ahead of the Women's March on Washington

This is Trump's first major disappointment to those who favor him: he EXPORTS jobs, American manufacturing women CREATE domestic jobs.

Yup. Trump deserves his chance to do what he promised to do. While many of Obama's opponents said they wanted him to fail, I will not say that about Trump. Let us all hope things improve for the sake and the future of our nation's youth.

Today there was the Woman's Rally in down town St Paul where the state capitol is situated. As I waited for a bus to take me to a basketball game, two women were discussing Trump. Both were liberals who opposed him. Interestingly, both said that despite their opposition to his stated policies and agenda, they did asserted that they did NOT want him to fail. That perhaps some good could come from his agenda and that they would happily applaud him if he succeeds. They said, "You gotta be optimistic and work for the best no matter what."

I hope Americans can come together on their criteria for success.
