How many times have we looked out the window and viewed God's beautiful creation? Whether it's a cardinal dressed in an exquisite red robe, or a bright, brilliant rainbow. Take time to admire the little creations, they are often the most beautiful.

If there is a situation that completely tires you or frustrates you to the point of anger and bitterness, try re-framing. You just need a different way of looking at it.
There are many ways to re-frame, but the best answer is to ask God to show you how he wants you to see something. You might be surprised, and find that he will usually be in the picture in some way.
Sometimes we need to re-frame difficult people.
Sometimes our present struggles.
Sometimes the image we have of ourselves.
Sometimes even our understanding of God, himself.
Sometimes it is the routine of our work.
Maybe it is time to take down the “pictures” you have on the wall of your mind, re-frame them and get a new perspective.

Do you find it easy to trust others? Or yourself? When other people betray you and let you down, remember that there is One who you can trust with your life and soul, and He will never betray you or let you down. His name is Jesus.

Your refuge is the place where most of your thoughts are.
Some people take refuge in a certain person, an addiction, escapes, lies, and even their own control of things. Only to find it is all like a leaky umbrella.
God offers us a refuge – a secret place where we can learn to dwell in. It is a place of protection, deliverance, angelic help and immediate answers when we call (Ps. 91:9-16)
For those who have God as a refuge, all fears are groundless. By giving us a refuge, God shows how concerned he is for our wellbeing. He calls himself a high tower, a fortress, a hiding place, a rock of shelter.
Let your faith rest in His presence at all times. To be safe from fears within and without. There are times when it is wise to say nothing and just silently rest.

Intentionally look at yourself and ask these questions:
1. Am I hungry for the Word of God and search the scriptures often?
2. Do I have a new perspective on life – less self-centered and more Christ centered?
3. Am I changing and letting go of old habits?
4. Am I experiencing increasing freedom?
5. Do I have peace of mind?
6. Is my faith stronger than my fears?
7. Do I know my motives behind what I do?
8. Is my personal relationship with Christ deepening?
9. Do I pray with faith?
10. Am I worshiping with joy?
11. Am I reaching out with love especially to the unlovable?
12. Am I depending more upon grace?
13. Do I know what I need?
14. Have I prayed about it?
Have you taken your spiritual “selfie” today?
We think a lot about how we are to serve others. But it is much more difficult to let ourselves be served. We don’t want to be a burden to others, or feel indebted. So we usually say, “No thanks – I’m okay – I can handle this, etc.”
To experience the fullness of Christ, we must let others help us. To not do so, is to cut yourself off from all the ways in which he desires to be there for you. His name is Helper. And he has chosen to work through all the people around you. He has given them gifts in which to bless you. He inspires their thoughtfulness.
Let them have the pleasure of sharing themselves with you. The next time someone offers to help you, just say “Thank you – that would be SO nice.”
Jesus gave us example when he let Mary pour expensive perfume over his feet.

a road-map really, it's always there, just waiting for each one of us to grab a-hold of the miracles
that are so lovingly given via the Love and Sacrifice of our Messiah...

In what ways have you been served when you have been ill? When you have been sad? When you have been in need of provisions? When you just needed to feel loved? When you have needed encouragement? When you have needed help? Give a lot of thought to these questions.
Because these are the ways you are asked to serve others.
Jesus said that whatever you do for the least of these, .you have done unto me. And there are times when we do need to reframe a difficult person and see Jesus there instead.
Never lose sight of the goal of serving people no matter what service or business you are in. Sometimes money begins to take precedence Or it can even be serving your own joy in doing the work.
When someone thanks you, never say “No problem”. Instead say, “It was my pleasure to do this for you…” Cause the person to feel cherished.
Pray and ask what the needs are in the people around you, and how best you can serve that need.
We are the hands, feet and voice of Christ. His body - putting flesh to his compassions.

As a child, remember how comforting and safe those forts we built were? Or the tree house? Or that tent that sheltered us? Even the blanket we slept under seemed to protect us from the unseen things of the night.
That need to be sheltered never goes away completely.
So God tells us that He is The Refuge – The Rock – The Covering – The Fortress – The Hiding Place.
All we need do is imagine ourselves hidden in the crevice of The Rock, or protected on all sides inside of The Fortress. We can see ourselves completely covered as a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings. In our Hiding Place.
The problem is keeping our thoughts there. Sometimes we find ourselves miles away from that shelter. But whatever has pulled you away, just take it by the hand and bring it back with you into that safe place.
And stay there.
