I went to a luncheon, and this question was used for an icebreaker. I liked it and wanted to post here.

What do you want to leave behind in 2016?

Debt. There are some debts that I want to leave behind. Therefore, I've taken some steps to reduce debt.

Pointless association. Some folks are just traps and loops that lead nowhere.. I am a junkie for progress,. It's maddening to give time to folks who love mundane routine, same stuff different day things.. I hit my apex with tolerance on New year's coincidentally.... I haven't the ability to participate or stand by any longer..

Clutter. And I'm not meaning closets full of old junk. Rather I mean relationships that I am hanging onto that have reached the end of their season - lets face it we meet hundreds of people in our life time, we cannot hang onto all of them. Some relationships are for life whilst others are there for a certain period. So often we found ourselves trying to resuscitate associations that are already dead and should remain so. I need to know which is which.

Pointless endeavors, draining relationships, wastes of my time and energy. There are better things I could do with my time in 2017.

Sounds like you got more people to "pardon" than Obama...
