Thanks Rough,
a good post to share...

we would also like to add, that some of the 'Essential OILS' are from waaaaaayyyy back in our
human-history and are packed full of natural remedies, many of which hubby and I have used by
trial and error for our own particular make-ups...so much to share, but so little who really care...

Had this verse in mind: Prov.27.9 Perfume and fragrant oils make you feel happier, but trouble shatters your peace of mind. (GNT)
Pro 27:9 Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel. (KJV)

Infra red sauna.
Hyperbaric chamber.
Metabolic enzymes.
An alkaline (mostly) raw, and vegan diet for a month or two. Limit sugary foods.
Don't eat pat around 7pm. Get to bed by 10pm.
Don't have any electronic gadgets closer then 20 feet near you when your sleeping. That means your TV too, or unplug it.
Mineral supplements.
Zero point global vibrational pointer.
E3Live.
Maybe a professional masseuse.

All helpful advice especially medium to long term.

Short term, there are often times when only the strongest prescribed pain
killers on the planet will do.

Unfortunately I've yet to find a natural remedy which eases extreme pain.
Believe me I tried, even resorted to trying a legal derivative of cannabis last
year hemp oil based products (well its legal over her anyway you can buy it in health food stores).

Its called cbd + oil
Ive posted the link just in case you thought I was a druggie. :p

Maybe it might work with less extreme pain and muscle pain.

I support weed for medical and economical use. But since its not legal here I have to abide by the laws of the land. But I have read it helps with nerve control so that's cool

Turmeric is a root. It looks a lot like ginger, but it’s bright orange inside. It’s available as a whole fresh fruit, or more commonly in North America, as a dried, ground spice.
Turmeric has been used for 4,000 years to treat a ton of different conditions ranging from infections to cancers to inflammation to digestive problems. Amazingly, in a 2009 study, researchers found that turmeric eased pain as much as ibuprofen did in patients with arthritis.
Turmeric can be enjoyed as a tea, or used in recipes (many Indian-inspired dishes call for turmeric). You can also buy curcumin (the powerful compound in turmeric) in capsule form.

I knew it wasn't legal in all countries, I'm surprised it isn't in the USA as its not the
same as cannabis.

CBD (cannabidiol) is an active substance found in hemp seed extracts and oils.
It is perfectly legal and safe to use. CBD has no side effects and is not addictive.

Part of a root problem of pain tolerance is high inflammation levels. Why do most people have high inflammation levels? You guessed it. diet and life style.

Most people would probably be shocked to learn how much just a few certain foods contribute to inflammation and pain...... especially, SUGAR.

A year, or so, ago, it was sold right here in St. Petersburg, FL. Don't know if it still is.

Well I definately wasn't eating high fat, sugar, salt etc when I did my back
in last year. I was on a diet at the time and had managed to lose 10lb before
I pulled my back.

well, one thing is for sure, the AMA definitely does NOT want society to USE
God-given-natural-remedies', and let's face it, the majority of societies BUY
into this propaganda, 'lock-STOCK-and barrel'...:(

One thing i have noticed, is that reducing the amount of diary while you have a
cold or catarrah etc seems to help. I also like fruit and herbal teas and they definately
seem to help in all sorts of ways if I have a cold.

Miri,

a lot of times it's our 'backs' that will bring us down' and cause us so many problems,
mostly because we are never taught how important it is to NOT put Stress onto our
Spinal Column...it is our SUPPORT SYSTEM, so to speak, in so many ways -.
aside from our internal organs...

I daily have to remind hubby to 'hold-up-his-core', as his body, from years of stress and strain
is naturally wanting to 'bend' in order to relieve STRESS...it breaks my heart to have to, holding
back tears in this telling, because I never want to PICK on Him, but I just cannot bear to see him
give-in, but, he is very strong and he NEVER complains, when I remind him,
even though I know that i must often annoy him...He really is just to precious of a man!:)

i know what you mean, my aunt slouches a lot, especially to her right side. Especially when
sitting down. I don't know why she has started doing that but it's getting really pronounced.
I try to encourage Her to sit up a little straightef or sit back.

I think last year I just over did things. I had gone through a 3 year period of non
stop rushing around, without any proper rest or holidays. Doing all the usual things, plus weekly
heavy work. All gardening, hedge cutting, mowing, moving furniture around, lugging heavy wheelie
bins up and down steps, climbing ladders trimming trees! Walking back and forth to hospital, work.
Often 3-4 miles a day.

I suppose something had to give!

One thing I found helped my back a bit was standing in the shower and turning up the spray
to very high, alternating between hot and cold.
