Got a letter from my V.A. P.C. and it reminded me of my mortality.......sigh.......Hard to accept that I am not "super human," or some such. Anyway, it also reminded me that I will be 67 this year, and, truth told, don't have all that many years left here on this earth. Just truth, that's all.
I been thinking about it, and decided that what time is left to me (by the grace of God) I want to enjoy, and not waste it on foolishness. So, I simply will not engage in foolish debates/arguments/discussions here on CC anymore. There really isn't any point in it is there? Nothing is ever "settled" or minds/hearts changed.
Now, not all discussions here are "foolish," folks know the ones I am speaking of.
If I see a Topic/Discussion that interests me, I will read through the various comments, and add my thoughts. What I will not do is enter into a debate concerning my thoughts. Truth told, I do not have to justify my thoughts about Scripture to anyone on this earth. They are betwixt me and the Lord God. Just as each of you and your thoughts are. If some foolishness responds to my comment, and wants to get into it, I will simply ignore them........there is no value in arguing with foolishness............
Just saying this..............because it has been on my mind, and, after all, this is the "Speak Your Mind" Thread.
Let the foolish argue foolishly.........and foolishness beget foolishness.
