Oh my Willie I am so flattered by this comment.

However "whence" means: from what place or source. So by interpretation: I know from what place or source I come.
You do know better. LOL

Boundaries do go both ways. And it's common sense that to find common ground with people you don't start off by insulting them.Theres a really good example of that in this very thread. I'm not gonna tell you who it is but I'll give you a hint....it's not you. Lol
Your boundaries only go one way. She said something about America only being for whites, and you immediately jumped on her calling you a racists. Pretty much why I ignore you. Your boundaries only go one way -- your way!

(Didn't ignore you just this once, because I knew this particular post would be you defending you.)

I haven't read all 19 pages.. but I just want to say...

When Trump said he was against allowing thousands of Syrian refugees into the country without vetting them (which is what Obama had been doing and what Clinton wanted to continue to do even more), I assumed he was only going to specifically stop those refugees who are fleeing the war - until they can be properly vetted.

What he's done is entirely different. He basically shut off all travel from not only Syria, but from 6 other countries as well. This is in my opinion, preposterous (ridiculous). I support other things he has done so far, but I am against him on this one. He needs to back down on this. Its a highly insensitive move and its making a lot of people angry (people who actually think for themselves and aren't blind followers of the media).

That has been my experience.... especially with people from around Columbus.
Heh my carnal dad is from around there. On momma's side though has been in the NE, Stark County from Revolutionary War to now, my ancientmost known ancestor was a Revolutionary War soldier who was given some land here. So yea I'm pretty native I reckon.

By way of accents there's the NE and then the rest of Ohio. NE keepz it realz in accent. The rest got that southun accent sorta.

He always was just about the best writer on this forum... at least in terms of grammatical correctness.... I would hate to see him let that honor slip in this latest incarnation.
So much flattery I might blush.

Lol you can't take a man's honor, no not if you in vain ban him, not even if you very literally chop off my head.

I dont believe its possible to separate Muslims who want to follow the commands of Jihad from the Muslims who dont.

I dont think its such a horrible thing to find an alternative to bringing them all into our country.

As for Muslims who arent seeking help from the Syria conflict, and just want to come live here in the US, I wouldnt normally have a problem with that (but they must be willing to accept that all beliefs are welcomed here, and that they cannot expect anything to be changed to fit their own comfort level. I certainly dont want to see anything like the image of the cross banned nationally as to not offend the Muslims), but due to the current problems we are having now, I dont think a temporary ban until the problem with Syria is solved is a bad idea.
We no longer have to separate them. Trump has ended the need. But we already did! We already did check out the background of some, immigration gave them the go ahead, and they went ahead. And when they went back home to visit, they were told they could not return back to their new home.

Honest. I'm not against banning certain countries from our immigration quotas. We've been doing that since 1789. I'm against banning those we already told could come.

I'm not talking massive refugees. Obama managed to hem and haw himself right out of his promises, and Trump clarified he made no such promise, so we're not getting those refugees. We already got the ones who couldn't come back. Let them come home. This is their home now! They are future Americans in the making.

I think
boundaries can have the apearance of going one way when one side has poor communication skills and cant express themselves without speaking in code and innuendo....of which you have been very adept at. Ignore away you angry woman you.

Lol I get this argument a lot, but I have to say no. Even if I want to ignore the minor amount of supposed Cherokee in my bloodline, I was born here and of several generations down, I'd say I'm pretty native. In the American Way our Old World racial structures have nothing to do with our nativity. American identity is all about birthright. I was born in Aultman Hospital in Canton Ohio, I know from whence I come and many of my peers and brothers of a multitude of the ancient races of Shem, Ham, and Japheth were born there too and are just as native as I to this land.

As for the other nations, even the friendly ones as you mentioned are not totally for us, they can't fully understand us. Just the same as we can't for them. By American Law, our government serves US, not them. By their laws, their governments serve them, not US.
I can trace my kin back to the old countries. The newest side of Americans came in the 1820's, so, yeah, I'm American. (I also write down I'm "Native American," because exactly how long do you have to live in a country not to be native? lol) I'm also a foreigner, because if my kin didn't come here as foreigners, I wouldn't be here. In that way, I am also a foreigner. Just happened to be 6th generation or longer foreigner. lol

We already gave some of these people permission to live here. Let's honor that!

Except for the pesky little fact that the stock market just hit an all time high last week, IIRC. He's doing a good job of destroying it, isn't he?
I firmly believe the stock market is a good indicator of how a decision made by politicians is working out. The stock dipped over the weekend. Probably hand-in-hand with Trump's EO. The market is nervous.

Being turned away at an airport is not a big deal.
Okay. Next time you vacation and then find out you can't come home for four months, you can figure out how little a deal it is.

The supposed Cherokee is on my pop's side whom are the Southerners and hillbillies, but such people they don't keep records, so it's only lore, though I can kinda see it in my pops and my pap more than myself as I am quite pale. Momma's side are Yankee Germans, Irish, and Britons through and through and were landed and wealthy and kept records so for ancestry I reference hers most oft as it is the most sure. Though I'd say in terms of America hers are more native than pops, I mean literally being here at the inception of America and rewarded for it as landed freemen is about as native as you can get.

I think what is important here is that the seven countries that are listed for this travel ban are terrorist states. If we hearken back to the headlines about ISIS training camps, American's that traveled to those sites and then returned home to carry out an act of terror, we may understand why this ban is vital to national security. And of course personal security.

Islam is a political ideology. Al Qaida has said that Islam, not Al Qaida and terrorist Muslims but Islam the ideology itself, is at war with America.

When there are over 1 billion Muslims affiliated with Islam, that makes the so called minority that are extremists, terrorists, ranking in the millions.
It is a privilege to enter into a country not a right.

All the 7 countries on the ban list are identified as terrorist states. Would we rather be safe from terrorists, or American traitors who leave America, go to ISIS training camps, return to America and then commit an act of terrorism?
OR would we rather insure our national security because we the people don't tolerate having our heads cut off by a lone wolf psychotic Muslim in the name of Allah! Because Political Correctness somehow won and that let that evil one into the country in the first place!

When a terrorist religion tells you it hates you and wants you dead believe them!

You haven't read the EO as yet. I suggest you do so that you then learn that remark is untrue.
