Well I definately wasn't eating high fat, sugar, salt etc when I did my back
in last year. I was on a diet at the time and had managed to lose 10lb before
I pulled my back.

Your comment tells me you really don't understand how this works regarding lowering inflammation levels. No offense intended.
And also losing weight is good, but not the be all and end all. I can instruct people on how to lose weight in any number of ways, and not all of them has to be healthy.

Everything about us and creation points to Gods perfection; how He designed us, spiritually and physically.
I should not be, but I still am, surprised that Christians who have been saved for some time do not get the simple fundamentals of this. It is not complicated nor does a Christian need to have much training in nutrition to see the big picture.

Hi roughsoul,

I use boswelia every day. Here's what I order in case you're interested.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LGIKHC6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have severe pain in my neck. I would walk around holding my neck or sit holding my neck and try to get relief by massaging it. My PCP wanted to send me to a specialist. After seeing my X-ray, she thinks I should have surgery. If I can put off going under the knife, that's what I'll do.

i read around the I-net for ways to reduce pain. I can try to find the article I read, but it mentioned Boswelia so I decided to try it. I can't say it works for everything. I have FM and OA that I suffer with.

The Boswelia didn't help most of my pain, but for some reason it helps the pain in my neck. I no longer have to walk around with my hand plastered to the side of my neck.

I'm very sceptical about stuff like this because I try things that others have recommended and they don't normally work for me, but this Boswelia does help me.....it's so amazing. I even went off of it to see if it really was the Boswelia that was helping. Within a few days the pain returned full force.

So I went back on the Boswelia and by the 2nd week, I began feeling much better again. It doesn't completely get rid of every ounce of the pain, but the relief is so much better that it's something I can live with now.

I can also vouch for exercise/stretching and also cutting out most sugar and sodium. I try to eat mostly veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, legumes and whole grains. Overall it has helped me to feel better. Any reduction in pain is worth the change in diet. And those types of food are anti inflammatory.

I mostly follow Dr Fuhrman's recommendations. Some friends I know like Dr McDougall's recommendations.

Wishing you all the best in your quest for better health.

I knew it wasn't legal in all countries, I'm surprised it isn't in the USA as its not the
same as cannabis.

CBD (cannabidiol) is an active substance found in hemp seed extracts and oils.
It is perfectly legal and safe to use. CBD has no side effects and is not addictive.

Hi Miri,

Some states allow medicinal marijuana. Colorado allows recreational marijuana.

But according to our federal government medicinal marijuana is illegal. If you take medicinal marijuana and you work for the Feds, you'll get fired. And you could be charged with a crime.

Each state has their own laws as to it's use. In most cases you can't have a drivers license. You also can't take your medical marijuana traveling to any states where it's illegal. They could arrest you.

From what I understand about CBD, some formulas have THC, no? Also, if it doesn't have the THC, I'm pretty sure you can purchase the CBD in the US.

But if it has the THC it is illegal. I guess I need to go and read up about it again. I read about it on the internet when my friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was trying to find anything that would help her live longer or heal her.

Red tart cherries, honey, maple syrup, are all natural anti-inflammatories. :) Try a ThermaCare heat wrap on your back. I use them and they work wonders.. Don't sit for long periods of time! Get up and move around. Do gentle leg stretches, legs out to the side, then front to back and up and down.

'essential-oils' really are amazing and beneficial natural-healing-remedies...

essential oils were discovered in ancient pyramids, and they still had their 'healing-properties'
full-force, they were measured on a machine that detects the 'current-chemical-properties and frequencies'...
this is how the researchers came to this conclusion...

today', buyer beware, for the so called 'pure', many times are NOT SO PURE, (do your RESEARCH)!!!...

Young Living and Doterra are two well known and effective brands.
Pure and natural mean nothing on essential oil labeling. It goes a lot deeper then that.

Thieves has a interesting history, to name just one very effective oil blend.
Here is a paste about thieves. I am to lazy to write it out myself.
[h=2]The History of Thieves Essential Oil[/h]
The history and healing of Thieves essential oil is an interesting tale!

While there are a few versions of the story they all center around one event, the Bubonic Plague. It is said that, during that time, four thieves went from house to house to rob those who had succumbed to the illness. After the thieves were captured and tried for their acts of robbery, a judge offered leniency if they would share how they were able to be around those afflicted long and often enough to rob them but not be affected by the illness. It’s interesting to note here that, during this time of the plague striking Europe, physicians were seen wearing long black robes, wide brimmed hats, and masks that appeared to have a beak. The reason for doing this is that the masks were said to have contained a combination of herbs, spices, and essential oils that the physicians would breathe in order to keep themselves safe from those afflicted with the illness. Their long black robes were also said to be doused in a similar fragrant concoction and current research continues to build upon this theory.

I had a bad injury to my right hand ring finger and middle finger when I owned the scrap yard business.
Now I was already a vegan when this happened, and also had been eating from all raw to about no less then 65% raw for almost 2 decades when that happened. I have had cleanses, fasted, taken loads of metabolic enzymes, and done to many other various modalities to get into here.

My point is this, relatively speaking, my body was at the time probably on the lower end of toxicity levels and of inflammation levels .
Even with that, I was having a hard time in those two fingers. They were getting stiff, like I had arthritis, and I had a hard time bending them.

So I began using the essential oils. After about 5 months of applying the oils on those two fingers daily and even ingesting a couple of drops a day of a certain blend of oils I mixed together, the condition completely healed. Well maybe not 100%. Every once and a great while it still feels not quite like it used to, but I will take 95% to 98% healing any day.
No operation, no drugs.

You reminded me of something :)

About 4 years ago, I grabbed hold of a file and went ouch!

I looked at my hand and there was a hard bony lump at the base of
my middle finger. It really hurt when the file jarred against it.
I didn't think much more about it and just thought it would go away, only it
didnt. Over the next few weeks it got worse, it definately wasn't a blister and there
was no injury that I was aware of.

I did wonder if it was arthritis starting or some other joint problem.
One night I felt compelled to pray for healing, so I did then forgot about it.
A few days later I realised the lump and pain (up to then it only hurt if I jarred it
or rubbed something against it) had completely gone and it never came back.
I had it for about 6 weeks up to that point.

Hallulajah!

That reminds me of the (true) story of a 67 year old woman in a church that our church was familiar with. This was in the mid nineties.
She had gotten lung and bone cancer. She was a Christian for many years, I don't recall exactly how many. She had a lot of tough circumstances in her life. I can't remember the specific ones at this time, but something like her daughter committed suicide, her son was a drug addict, her husband was a semi invalid due to a bad accident at work, he had no income so the bank took away the home, and even more trying situations like those.

She was always devout the whole time. Never lost the faith, still gave what she could in tithes, served in a church ministry, was pleasant, had a joy, was not at all angry with God.

So she asked her church and other church's and Christians she knew to pray not only for a healing, but a rejuvenation. That she wanted new organs and bones and on the inside a young body. She said the events and the years had worn her down and that she felt a lot older then her 67 years. I think they told her she had like 4 months left to live at that point.
Anyway, after weeks, (or was it a month or two?), of prayer, she goes to the doctor for a routine blood work and testing to see how the cancer is developing. The tests come back and they told her that somehow it seems like the cancer is gone, and the blood work is showing numbers of a person in their early 30's.

They told her it was not possible and they want to re-test. They did, 3 other times over the next month. They finally said to her, we can't be wrong 4 times. They told her the 3rd and 4th times they even had one and then two other labs and doctors check the results, and they all came to the first original conclusion; she was cancer free and her blood work showed she had the numbers and organs of someone in their 30's.

Prayer and faith first.

Old age gets us all in time. I was one of those guys who begin exercising at eleven years of age and kept it up, ate good food, and took supplements all my life. When I was 60 years old I could lift 215 pounds from the ground over my head and run two miles every morning. But then things started to change, stiff muscles, body pains. Hey, I still workout, went to the gym today, however at some point the age factor kicks in. By the way, what would be good for stiff muscles, I already take curcumin.

Deu 34:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

Old age will get all people, but exercise can help out,and eating good, but it appears as if Moses did not have a problem with old age,for even at 120 years old he was still like a spring chicken, and fit as a fiddle,so I take that back, old age will get all people except for Moses.

Exercise is great, very important.
However, one of the problems with aging is that some people think they are eating well, but they are not really doing so. They just don't know.
Another issue is the toxic environment we live in.
The 3rd is that often our state of mind or spirit can work against us.
The 4th is our general lifestyle; not getting enough sleep, eating late, not getting enough sun, not being grounded to earth, etc.
Anther issue our mothers tissue quality when she was carrying us, and also our descendants tissue quality, or to put it another way, the rate of which they toxicfied their bodies.

Last, by taking certain supplements that reduce inflammation, and break harmful protein keys, and also taking a good quality probiotics, and doing a colonics routine, (and maybe hyperbaric chamber and/or Ozone therapy too) you have dramatically increased your chances of living a longer life at a higher level of living.

Unfortunately, most people either do not believe this, or have not the discipline and/.or finances to do some or a lot of it.
The saddest thing to me is that many Christians who actually understand the comments the bible makes regarding longevity and food and basic lifestyle still do not have a clue.

But it's all there. The bible is the best practical book in the world for functional use about this subject, if you know where and how to look.

it takes great heart and Love for our Maker to acknowledge what we have accepted
or believed-in in the 'fallen-world' - once He starts His precious PULLing-TUGGing, we
are given our first chance/glimpse of His True Essence, our first real glimpse/taste
of the Power of His Spiritual Love, our heart's desire can only be to serve, worship, adore Him...
