The problem with evidence is that once it's presented you no longer need to believe in the thing that's now evident. Now Christians say the world over that it is by faith, experience and the unseen that they draw their understanding about God on, but then they say "We have evidence!"

Well what is it, evidence or faith?
Given that God promises that you shall find Him if you seek diligently, and given also that Jesus promises to reveal Himself to those who love Him and obey His commands, your presentation merely highlights the lack of sense you have in the conclusions you draw.

paradoxdown, chickenkiller came to this sight seeking answers and has been very respectful and has shown a legitimate seeking heart, You though sir are an example of this verse below. You too have a choice, you can either choose God or choose the world. I would hope that as time passes you would also come to the conclusion of the truth of God's word. I do realize that this post will likely prompt you to continue on bashing Christianity, but its not us that you are bashing, but the almighty God who is at this very moment giving you the breath that is in your lungs. He is being patient with you so that you too might live and be blessed.

[h=1]1 Corinthians 1:18 English Standard Version (ESV)[/h] [h=3][SUP]18 [/SUP]For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.[/h]

Exactly, it's a faith thing.

Just an inclination I have about you.

I'm all ears if you want to talk, though :) Well not all ears. My ears aren't bigger than average at least I don't think so :p
Oh, ok. I have to have breakfast.

You attempt to wrongly define faith as being without evidence. In fact you put forth the logical fallacy of false premise, and likewise arrive at a false conclusion.

Faith itself is evident to you that Jesus is true, but how is it evidence in facts that Jesus is true.

Ok Whenever your ready. I'll be waiting ??? :p
I've given up on my quest for truth, it's unattainable in this body and mind I have.

I'm going tp enjoy the rest of what this world has to offer before I have to leave, and stop chasing ghosts around.

paradoxdown, I recommend I Do Not Have Enough Faith To Be An Atheist by Norman Geisler and Frank Turek, The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel, Evidence That Demands A Verdict by Josh McDowell, More Evidence That Demands A Verdict by Josh McDowell, and New Evidence That Demands A Verdict by Josh McDowell. I am a Christian not due to blind faith, but trusting in Jesus that he died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. When a Christian says faith it means trust not that we have blinders on and are walking in the dark. There is evidence for Christianity it is not just a blind faith thing as popular culture, militant atheists (not saying you are one), etc claim. God bless. May you find what you are searching for.

P.S. Welcome to Christian Chat, chickenkiller. God bless. Have a beautiful and blessed day! :)

Is this a question? I can make little sense of it. Could you reword, please?

Have you been getting down on your knees and humbly asking God to reveal Himself to you?

I wonder what makes Christians morally unique, when it is obvious that they have just as much trouble with understanding people as the "non believers" do.

They don't seem any different from you and I and how humanly flawed we are.

All for the best I say, if they were morally superior (Like spiritual super men/women) we'd probably be living in a very different world.
As a Christian I don't feel morally superior to one who does not believe the only difference between sinners which we all are is am I saved or not? Have I chosen Jesus as my savior or not? It doesn't make me superior at all. We are all in need of a savior some of us just don't know or accept it.
