Διὰ τοῦτο ὥσπερ δι’ ἑνὸς ἀνθρώπου ἡ ἁμαρτία εἰς τὸν κόσμον εἰσῆλθεν

In Greek, there is not said it is about male, its more about "one of the human race". It can be male, female or both of them.

The same for the second verse:
ἐπειδὴ γὰρ δι’ ἀνθρώπου θάνατος, καὶ δι’ ἀνθρώπου ἀνάστασις νεκρῶν.
The death through (hu)man, the resurrection also through (hu)man

So salvation will likewise come from a woman or a race? I don't think so. The point very clearly being made is that sin came by Adam, one man, and likewise from one man, called the second Adam or Jesus Christ, will come salvation. Some men may need to have a man repeat that bit of sensibility to them, since they are senseless when it comes to receiving sensible things from women.

Also, you overlook that Adam was said to have sinned (due to his disobedience to a direct command from God) while Eve was merely deceived. Why do men want to overlook these things?

The commandment to not eat the tree was given to both Adam and Eve as responsible adults, to deny that Eve disobeyed a direct command is an excuse of self justification. For this reason, because women have sense failed to be held just as accountable as men, they were given lesser status and responsibilities, as well , an inability to make important decisions , vote etc.

Which is more irresponsible," the devil made me do it" or " the woman who YOU gave me, made me do it"?

Same thing!!!

do you have a verse from scripture that will back up your claim that God said to Eve woman you have disobeyed??

Yes, before the fall, God placed them in the garden and called them together, "Man", and gave them the same commandment.

Otherwise by your argument, Eve was not capable of making choices on her own, and so was not given a freewill.

It is not a sin to be tempted by the devil, but when a person makes a choice, they have nobody to blame but themselves. They were decieved and they made their own choices contrary to God's Word.

Otherwise the woman remains in her sins. This cannot be so if she is to repent and place her faith in Christ.

To say that she did not make a wilfull choice, is to say that she does not need a savior. She is not saved then.

But I think their choices were done in wilfull ignorance. Which is why Jesus said "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do".

I suppose this has nothing to do with overlooking. Also i suppose it is not important what I ore you are thinking about it. Important is what our father in heaven is saying about it. According my understanding that what is written is very clear. And I am really wondering why so many even Christians have a problem to accept what is written.

What's most irresponsible is being a troll without a conscience.

So you're saying no one should blame anyone else when they sin? Yet you're here blaming women for just about everything from higher divorce rates, sexual misconduct,....to burning supper or not keeping the house clean enough and causing you to sin :p

When men sin, this is expected, but to see these things coming from women is a greater evil, I think. What does this say to children?

So, You're saying what's fair for the goose is not fair for the gander, huh:p

Children are not just influenced by their mother. They are also influenced by the father. So sin is sin, right:p

Well I'm not saying Eve got a get out jail free card, yes she had to account for what she did also, along with Adam for his part along with the serpent for his part. They made that choice yes each of them. But it appears you trying to say it was more Eve's fault than Adam and that no where in scripture says that's the case. The only statement from God to all three Eve,Adam, serpent. the disobedience statement is directed at directly at Adam.. Eve after that forbidden fruit thing.. Eve obeyed God then on out, for none us would be here if she had not obeyed after the event that happen in the garden.

Adam was the first to blame God, which is what sin is really about.

The greatest sin is Jesus dying on the cross, which is our unbelief that He is the only begotten son of God, both Lord and Christ, which put Him there in the first place.

I apollogize to all. I looked the word disgrace in German.
This is the a harsh word in deed. Next time i look first the meaning of the word.
Meh. (That means something like "oh well.") I figured you just didn't notice that word in there. It happens. I get so focused I tend to forget about certain words too.

I am not arguing with your interpretation, I was just reacting to the word "man" as used in English Bibles :) In Greek, it does not necessarily means "male", in these verses...

Here's the thing you'll eventually need to deal with.

Yes, both sinned. But God counted Adams as "the sin." How do you take that? Not my problem.

You're problem? You're still dealing with the childhood classic that has never ever ever worked on a mom (or dDad, since you seem insistent that women don't count that much), "She did it first."

So what? It doesn't absolve Adam's sin. It's who God counted, not who you count.

Learn to deal. This is your problem. Read the answers you've received and notice something from them. The only person pretending to be adamant about your claims to righteousness is you. The rest of us have already dealt with this, learned from it, and moved on.

Kind of like Dust in the Wind sticking in my mind yesterday. Now all I hear from you is Bart Simpson as he points to Lisa, his sister, and repeats (in an endless loop), "She did it first."

Seems kind of silly since the punishment was handed out at the dawn of Man -- literally!

I can quote chapter and verse where God punished Eve for her actions in that fiasco if you'd like. (God doesn't punish for obedience. lol) But it still comes down to Georgie is playing games.

Honestly? This tells me you should stay away from children all together.

Sin entered the world through Adam for His direct offense towards God (accusation ), which held him in contempt, Eves confession was an actual account of her own choices. Adams was an attempt at self justification.

The man is always responsible for His own household, and carries the most responsability in a marriage. Which is why women are not allowed to teach or speak with authority over men, because the men will be held responsible for everything the woman says or does. A woman is saved(called and useful)and partakes in ministry by the way she raises her children and administers her household, under the supervision of her husband. She is to be silent and learn while in the assembly, and then serve her household on the things she has learned.

Women make great Sunday School teachers!
