No big deal.
Trump and his team will be attacked for something new, every day, for the next 4 years.

Everyone just needs to take a deep breath and get used to it.

The court ruling the other day... that was nothing but a temporary ban on a temporary ban of a temporary ban.
It's just political nonsense.
Trump's temporary ban was given a temporary ban, and so Trump tried to get a temporary ban of the temporary ban against his temporary ban.
Seriously.

It will all go to the supreme court, and if Trump's ban gets shot down, Trump will just use the court's findings to write a craftier ban that can't be shot down. And the liberal attorneys all know this. It's all just nonsense. And actually, the ONLY thing it's doing is upsetting Trump's base, so they continue to be angry and supportive of him. The vitriol and stupidity from the left is just making Trump more popular with his base.

The democrats will have lost ANOTHER presidential election long before they figure any of this out.

Could be a problem if Conway profits directly from the sale of the product. If we are going to investigate her then we had better hire a lot of investigators and comb through the activities of all the members of congress and the senate. What of the honored members who don't pay their taxes and fail to disclose off shore profits from "investments"? I wonder if John Kerry made any money off of the Heinz empire owned by his wife?

I wonder how much trouble he'd be in if there was a bottle of catsup on his table in a photo. (For the non Americans. Most of the catsup we use in this country is Heniz catsup. lol)

She use her political platform to endorse a product which is a violation. I'm only asking that she obey the law
And Hillary should be indicted, correct?

I'd like to know, whats ethically different about what kellyanne conway did, and the government dumping our money into businesses that are failing? Why do banks and auto manufacturers get cash for failing, but other failing business doesn't? Why does the government get to pick the winners and losers. Conway is a criminal now for saying people should buy some junk, give me a break. This is stupid beyond stupid.
Why don't these so called journalist, go dig up some real dirt.

If it's any consolation for you and the others looking for blood over a simple comment... think of Trump doing something similar to what Comey did with Hillary.

"Guilty, but I see no reason to charge her."

I thought to myself....what a stupid thing to say. But the reality there "seedtimeharvest".....we defend them like we do because we are battling against half of the constituency in this country, of which you are very plainly and obviously a card carrying member of, that employ such a cynical double standard that we have no choice but to fight back against you. Your people in govt have done so many shady and criminal looking shenanigans right in front of your eyes and you say nothing. But then Kelly Ann plugs a line of purses on the news and your knives, pitchforks and torches come out with a vengeance. You'll just ignore this, but deep down you know it's true.

She didn't state alternative facts were true, she stated that alternative facts, essentially, existed.

Which is true... within the proper context.
People often have different sets of so called "facts"... and we have to examine them to see which are actually true.

And by the context, if you bothered to check the interview, you could see she simply meant "there's ANOTHER SIDE TO THINGS, which is not being discussed in the media".

Her point was perfectly reasonable... but she didn't state it well.

The media only gives you a break if you're a Democrat.

Sounds like something a politician might say,a lie might be the truth, the truth might be a lie,we have to figure out the confusion.

Just tell me anything,right?

As I understand it, the problem arose when she promoted that everyone should go out and buy the product......For whatever reason, this may create an Ethics violation...........doesn't make sense to me though.......what is the difference in her doing that, and Politicians getting on World wide TV and telling everyone to BUY AMERICAN?

Personally, I think it is much todo about nothing much...........and the fact that Republicans are involved is just more evidence that Trump does not have the full and undying support of the Repubs in Congress........just as I said many, many times prior to the Election.......

He has a hard row to hoe............and he needs to ease up on angrifying as many folks as possible.......elsewise, he could end up not getting the REAL things needed doing done.........Executive Orders only do so much........the REAL issues need Congressional action/approval.

(my thoughts)

Yes, because she was acting in her capacity as counselor and campaign manager to Donald Trump, and she did state outright that she was giving a free commercial and told people to go buy Ivanka's products. However, while it's unethical, it was a mistake and there are worse mistakes someone can make.
:)Thanks, you at least acknowledged truth and thats the beginning of seeing things unshaded.

Oh, I don't see how anyone can deny she violated the ethics code. Regardless of whether or not one believes a politician should be allowed to use his/her platform to market different products, the code exists and forbids that.

But all humans make mistakes, she's been reprimanded, and hopefully she's learned her lesson.
