[FONT=&quot]One aspect of Christianity is so amazing, that it impresses even the CBS Evening News. Quick, name the practice that most sets Christianity apart from the non-Christian world. Respect for human life? Not really. Religions such as Jainism have, if anything, an even more uncompromising prohibition against harming any living things. Sexual morality? Again, there are religions—Orthodox Judaism and Islam immediately come to mind—that place an even higher premium on sexual purity than Christianity. If you doubt this, ask yourself when was the last time you saw a Christian woman in a burqa. The answer to this question is forgiveness. No other belief system has the equivalent of forgiving your brother ...

I believe the most distinguishable difference between Christianity and all other beliefs is that every other belief system relies, in some aspect, on THEIR performance or works, to earn salvation.

We rely SOLELY on the Sacrificial death, and subsequent resurrection, of God in the Flesh, Jesus Christ!

Not quite....

Buddhism very much believes in forgiving others. So does Taoism and Hinduism. And I am sure there are others...

I agree...,the only thing that sets Christianity apart is Jesus.

Other religions have morality rules like forgive brother, etc.

I wouldnt say that Islam has a stricter stance on sexual morality than Christianity. I mean, jihadist who kill infidels are allowed to take the wives of those they kill as slaves to do as they please with. They are not all that moral when it comes to physical relations : p

And Jesus Christ is what makes Christianity different. He gave His life as payment for our sins, and only through Him are we cleansed.

What Makes Christianity Different from Other Religions?
I would say the critical difference is Christianity teaches salvation comes through being forgiven..

All other religions teach salvation comes through striving to be good enough to make some pass grade..

In Christianity our wrongs are wiped away and we are cleaned by God..

In religon they try to clean themselves and present themselves before God hoping they will be clean enough to pass His inspection..

Amen! False religions and cults have a "different" gospel and a "different" Jesus but only Biblical Christianity has the correct gospel and the real Jesus, who is God.

No other "religion" has Christ. Christianity alone is based not is the teachings of a dead prophet but in the life of a living Lord God and Savior who lives in those who are His.

What sets Christianity apart is Jesus, who is the true God,that gave us His human body as a sacrifice to take away our sins, and obtain forgiveness of sins, and the high morality that no other religion can compare to by being led of God,which if everybody followed Jesus' teachings there would not be fighting on earth even in the least sense, and all people would be feed, and clothed.

1Pe 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
1Pe 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

That is what God wants us to show to the world is His high morality, and love for people,by helping to feed, and clothe them.If that happened and not so much hypocrisy a lot more people would respond.

I think you have hit on it...

I am not sure any other religions have a loving supreme being.. one that LOVES us, and wants to have a relationship with us.

I don't think that any of the "attributes" given to "Allah" include love.

All other deities that I know of might be kind, benevolent types of beings (as seen by their followers) but no other one has a God that LOVES them.

Huge difference...
