I am only 28, but I would like to hear from people older them myself what happened to the churches grip on society in the 1960's 1970' 1980' & 1990's. Where did it all go wrong was it the churches fault? was it the people of the time setting bad examples for the younger crowd's fault. It is not everyone fault, But I would like to know the root of the problem.

I already know that massive satanic prayer was established in the year 1966 but that is all I know. and knowing this has made me vary angery

I think you pretty well identified it when you used the word, "grip" to describe it. I think most of the church also presumed it to be a "grip" rather than an "influence." You cannot force someone to love, no matter how hard you grip.

Yes, I know your tendency will be to back-pedal on the use of that word. But the fact that such a term came to mind at all should show you there is something wrong with thinking that way.

Radio, Television, World Wars, Globalization, over-exposure from technology, and satanic influences over the Church, State, Media, and "Entertainment Industry".

You also have the demands of a 40 hour work week, or education demands, raising families, and everything else that makes your head spin trying to have a "normal" life in this matrix we all live in. Donald Trump alone is massive anxiety and we all share that. It's hard to believe in or devote yourself to the light when you are surrounded by darkness and are encouraged to participate.

Christianity really took a big hit during the reformation period when the Renaissance ushered in "Classical" arts and other forms of entertainment that took a Higher Purpose out of what we did with our time and energy. This was also the period that ushered in the "intellectual movement", or thinking about and focusing everything on the surface level or physical world as opposed love, spirituality, and God.

I do not believe there is any coming back from the steep decline we are on until The Messiah returns.

By and large...churches just help people polish themselves into shinier turds.

Well said! I was part of a spirit filled non denominational church when I came to Christ about two decades ago. They taught me the lingo and how to belong. They even had me preach a few times. I thought that was what being a Christian was all about. It wasn't until years later away from there, seeking the Father and studying independently that I experienced transformation. I still count my years there as some of my happiest.

There has been a huge morality shift in the past fifty years. Before it was honourable or popular for people to be Christian. Now it's used as a punchline, or an insult to have Godly standards. People like to feel part of a crowd. The crowd is now larger outside the church so that's where people gravitate. Don't be delusional though, there are probably just as many saved now as there was then. There are just fewer posers.
