Be careful and do not feed them too much bread. It can do quite a lot of harm to them. For one thing, when they drink, the bread swells and this causes their wee bellies to swell also.....almost as bad as feeding birds rice. For another thing, too much bread can constipate the ducks...........yes, ducks can be constipated......and this is harmful to them also. This is why Sailors (in days of old) were fed bread and water........it made them "feel full," and constipated them........

Thank you, Gabe. Yeah, I have neighbors but they're all just as decrepit as I am..lol..I put on a heat wrap and took some ibuprofen and was able to get out, on God's strength. Just in time too, cuz it's snowing now and we're supposed to get 8 inches or so..

WHY do you live in such an inhospitable place as Vermont? Why not move to the south where you can say goodbye to the snow and the cold? lol
