Everything is for a purpose to maintain balance inside and outside of the body. The body gathers information from outside of the body to make changes inside the body to then make changes outside of the body. Testosterone increases aggression, builds muscle and increases sexual arousal in men. It does the same for women but too much makes them infertile. T calls on HGH for assistance to build muscle. When the environment is hostile or the men are worked to hard as long as they get enough to eat and sleep this increases population to either help with the load or replace the fallen (dead). It's the environment that triggers it. Opposite is true not enough to eat or poor nutrition, not enough sleep and lack of productivity signals too many people and dials back the T to reduce population. Increased T generates alphas which increases mating response in females. When we eat properly, get enough sleep, work at a good rate then levels remain steady and population maintains. Growth hormone is released in physically active people to keep the ones who do their share and more around longer to be productive and reproductive. Testosterone is supposed to serve a purpose and when that purpose is served levels are supposed to decline. If we are not battling giants or clearing forests then it turns to estrogen to make us more loveable and less combative and horny. This makes us more patient fathers and better husbands.
I was beefing up pretty good last year and definitely looking alpha. It made me arguementitve and everywhere I looked was eye candy. I toned back my training a bit which made it a lot easier to walk in the Spirit. I realized that the stronger you make the flesh, the more power and control you give it.
I hear you. i was in the same place as a young man. God did not design us for that lower level of living. I lost 60 pounds of muscle when I changed my diet around, but glad I did it.

I'm sure you are familiar with the autoimmune diseases we give ourselves from not avoiding foods that we have sensitivities to. Have you heard that starving yourself for a few days can reset the immune system? I have a theory that if you do this then introduce foods gradually like you would a baby (pure and puréed avoid the milk though) then you could allow the digestive track to repair and monitor reactions for sensitivities. Once the immune system goes on high alert because of constant cortisol it leads to reactions with multiple unrelated foods. Just wondering if you ever tried anything like this.

Good, it must have worked if you did it more than once. I fasted a long time ago for a couple of days. It was for prayer not health. My health I would rate at a 9 only because I know what a 10 feels like. I haven't had a fitness plan for a few months now, just infrequent. I have three teens and a preteen at home, and a wife. My demeanour is more relaxed now. Before they were driving me nuts. I'm surprised my physique hasn't really changed. If I workout now I train for speed and power. It's good for fast twitch muscle, HGH release and keeps the 12 pack toned. I have a good workout I can do in the car using the headrest or the steering wheel. Multitasking at its finest.
