Good samaritan bleeds to death on NYC sidewalk as gawkers walk by without helping

I can't believe this!

Yesterday, a man rescued a woman from a knife wielding attacker but was stabbed in the process. He lay on the sidewalk bleeding to death for over an hour before the fire department arrived, but they were too late at that point.

Hundreds of New Yorkers walked by without checking on the man or even calling 911.

This demonstrates how low Western society has fallen. Those golden rules and Christian values that most Americans were taught and practiced up until the 70s are long gone by at least two generations. Great Society indeed.

You have to be prepared to provide for your own no matter what. Your neighbors and the Government can't be counted on to be at the least a nuisance and at worst a threat during a crisis.

Society, in general, isn't Christian.

Perhaps these people thought it was nothing new? IDK. That's really sad.

I often think about how society seems to be spiraling downward, and I ask myself, Why?

I realized a few months back, it was because of a lack of reverrancy. Many people ignore the bible, and say it is a book of fables, and ignore it, so they can consume their time with short-term joys, and not long-term joys. These short-term joys often are at a cost. To them, to us, to the world.
