I have to compliment some of the Democrats last night.
There were a small number who had integrity and minds of their own. Unlike the majority of them who acted like third graders holding their breath in a mini-tantrum, those few applauded the many good points Trump made, and even stood in respect several times.
I hope they are identified and righteously honored by the American people at election time. They are truly patriots who care about their country more than their little Party platform.

And he can write, too. It's good to finally hear a president read a speech he, himself, wrote.
I thought he did well. My fear was that we would get "Campaign Trump," but he showed that he can be "President Trump" when he wants to be.
The question now is: Will he remain President Trump, and work with the Republicans in Congress to move his Agenda forward, or will he return to Campaign Trump and return to battling the Media and Hollywood via Twitter?

He is who he is, and he will return to that when attacked. That is just who he is. He can, and probably does stand solidly for many virtuous things, but when hit, he hits back.
It would be nice if we had a politician with only his career in mind whenever he opens his mouth. But we did not want, nor did we vote for, a professional politician. Thus, we did not get another one.

1. Massive debt, possibly unrecoverable
2. Health system on the verge of collapse
3. Drugs and gangland over running the country
4. Jobs gone abroad
5. Overseas miltary budget out of control
6. Lack of support for people inside the country
7. Murder rate sky rocketing
Now it is good to put a spot light on the situation and say I will fix this,
but do you not see what this says about where things are.
In 4 years what do you think will have improved?

Probably anything and everything the Democrats aren't successful at stopping him from doing.
This is a man who has proven, time and again, that he is EFFECTIVE and gets things done in a timely and effecient manner. The Democrats seem to hate that idea........ the idea of having a government that actually governs.
Willie - did you see the documentary about the vigilante movement in Mexico which
was throwing out the drugs cartels. Now targeted community action, funded by government
really does make sense.
Drugs and its effects are like the wild west and in our cultures drugs have not been resolved.
My daughters tell me how easily they could get drugs, and how acceptable it is.
But these nutcases have no clue at 17 how it can destroy their lives by 20, never to recover.
As a culture real life skills is missing, philosophy and good relationship training, what it means
to respect another human being, to give and receive love. Now these are biblical realities,
which our culture appears to be walking away from. Is it little wonder it is falling apart into
fornication, adultery, drugs and abuse.
Yes. This is one of the many reasons my vote went to Trump. Everything you mentioned about our side of the border has gone on for far too long.
