I lost my virginity before marriage and my goal was to lose it in marriage, I feel like I made a huge mistake and feel like I have no right to be happy because of that, and felt that my virginity brought me happiness. Also, it stresses me out that I lost it to a girl that might be with a man that's not me, and I gave my virginity to her. Am I meant to be unhappy, is this a punishment from God?

It's consequence of actions. I was 13 when I lost my virginity. I regret it but it's not Gods desire for you to dwell on things He's forgiven. The punishment is self induced. Don't blame God for the things you do to yourself. Don't question God because you have consequences. Its your choice to move forward in Gods grace or sit and fester in your own self pity.

You're not meant to be unhappy. Keeping your virginity seemed to be of high importance to you. You are just feeling disappointment in yourself, not punishment from God. When we fall God wants us to get back up & push onward. It's the devil who wants to keep us down & remind us of past sins and make us feell we don't deserve happiness.

27Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, 2 but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them. 3 As he was speaking, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. They put her in front of the crowd.

4 “Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?”
6 They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger.7 They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” 8 Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust.
9 When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. 10 Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”
11 “No, Lord,” she said.
And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”

like they said above. You are forgiven. There are consequences for actions but repenting and changing your ways and seeking the heart of God will in time heal any wounds.

A Godly fear and regret is of God! Forgive yourself, get up and move on! We all fall short! Every day we are tempted bc the enemy knows we are the threat and if this mistake can keep you from the battlefield = he won. If you can honestly forgive yourself and repent before Jesus = He will make all things new!!! I live that, I believe that bc I fall. If not physically, just thinking about it is adultery , weather it is sex or drugs!!! Confess Your sin now with the King and when you find your wife confess that you were not thinking about her and got impatient = don't hide it, get it out in the light!

You committed a sin, acknowledged it was wrong, and are genuinely repental. That is from God

The guilt about it that has you stymied ... that is not.

What is important now is to walk with the Lord now. We are to put our whole faith in Him and His word. If you do that you will accept the forgiveness God has offered you. We are not to question that forgiveness.

God tells us what are thoughts are about when they come from him, and thoughts of stress, guilt, and gloom do not come from God. God gives joy and contentment. So put your life in the Lord's hands with confidence in Him. Even if we face earthly death, God is with us with care, love, and protection.

a lot of men do this,

do ot dwell on too long, there's more to the world than sexual activity and feeling wrong, go on with your day, perhaps not happy with every choice you make, but happy you agree it is not the better choice and with recognising you agree with the beliefs, even if you did walk against them, once
