Some have said that Elijah ascended to heaven, which he did—but not to the third
heaven. He was taken by chariots of fire up into the first heaven (ii Kings 2:11).
The Hebrew word used for heaven here is the same as in Genesis 2:1.

Elijah did not die during this experience. In fact, Elijah wrote a letter to King Jehoram
years after this event (ii Chron. 21:12). Elijah had been miraculously transported to
another location on Earth.

Heaven is not, as some believe, the future home of any man, righteous or not.
Revelation 5:10 shows that God’s saints will reign not in heaven but “on the earth.”

Revelation 21 and 22 describe the coming time when God the Father and heavenly
Jerusalem will come down to Earth after it has been purified. In other words, man
is not going to heaven—God is coming here!

Jesus was and still is our Lord and God. There was nothing to correct Thomas about. The Word became Jesus in human flesh. John 1:14

the word became God in human flesh.

[SUP]14 [/SUP]And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Your the first person I have ever heard to to argue that Jesus did not exist until he was born. except those who deny the trinity.. Not sure what your trying to prove here.

I'm not trying to prove anything I'm just quoting scripture so if you don't believe what scripture says then tell me why not and please don't try to compare your so-called understanding of the Trinity with what the scripture says because it doesn't always work. There is no doubt that God is Triune.

Explain to us the scripture you are quoting.

I think you are playing on semantics here. and we may not disagree

Again, Jesus own words shows When he responded to the pharisees by saying before abraham existed (was) I am (literally I I AM, or the same words YHWH used to tell moses his name in the burning bush, which is why they picked up stones to stone he, he declared to them he was God.

No explanation needed it says exactly what it means and means exactly what it says.

when I die, and am given a glorified body, I will still be me.. the body I have now will no longer exist.

Same with Jesus, He was sirit, and entered a human body, and given a human name.. But it was still jesus.

I knew you would cut and run.
Not at all. I just refuse to play games with people of your ilk. I know your kind I knew what Spirit you are of the second you asked your first question.

I knew before I asked you anything you would cut and run.
I also knew you would not be able to answer me in truth.

Your theology has many flaws in it.

Wrong. The body you will be given when Jesus returns will be a glorified body yes but the same body you have when you died.
Jesus was not Jesus until he was born, that's why I he was given a name.
