I'm guessing the OP has something to do with the fact that mom won't let me talk to strangers.


A cop was on station at an intersection directing traffic when he saw a boy walk down the sidewalk, turn the corner and go down the other side of the block five times. It looked for all the world like he was doing laps around the block. Finally the cop called out to the boy, "Son are you lost? You've been around this block five times already."

The boy replied, "Naw mister, I'm running away from home. But my mom said I can't cross the street."
